AEROSMITH Frontman On The Mend After Undergoing Laser Surgery

According to the Boston Herald, AEROSMITH frontman Steven Tyler recovering after undergoing laser surgery on his throat.
A "die-hard" member of the AEROSMITH fan club Aeroforce One by the name of Marge reportedly tracked down Tyler while he was trying on outfits at Riccardi on Newbury Street in Boston the other day and reports he's still whispering but managed somehow to out-talk her!
"He explained to me that he burst a blood vessel in his throat and had to have laser surgery to repair it," blogged the superfan. "He was wearing a groovy red scarf around his neck and I think I saw a scar when he was re-tying it."
AEROSMITH cancelled the remaining dates of their North American tour to allow Tyler — who recently turned 58 — time to heal his voice.

of the 'big four', slayer and anthrax clearly dont even belong in the same sentence as megadeth and 83'-89' metallica (even though i just put them both in the same sentence). metallica had the title of best american band, but lost it obviously when they sold out. aerosmith is not in the discussion because of selling out, as well, and also because they are and always have been very, very overrated.
therefore, the process of elimination lists megadeth as best american hard rock band ever

Both their first albums came out in 1973. Aerosmith are from Boston, New York Dolls, um, New York. Tell me again how there'd be no Aerosmith with out the Dolls!

I have a friend who met Steven Tyler a few years back...he said Steven was INCREDIBLY friendly and gracious of the compliments that my friend had to offer!
For all of you guys that talk shit, just remember that if you ever met Tyler, not only would you kiss his ass, but he would be cool to you in return!

Aerosmith isn't in the "Big 4" is becausehe is not a metal band they're a hard rock mix of jazz and blues alot like the stones but when they made a comeback they went in a different direction with there music which is arguable better or worse. steven tyler was one of the people who brought hard rock full circle not nessarily as much as zepplin or the stone but my point is that he inspired metal suprisingly some big names but he's a father of hard not of metal
as for the dolls and boston steven tyler was inspired by them read his interveiw were he talks about his early career he loves there music and the stones but hates the sound and physical comperisons.
