GODSMACK: 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' Appearance Moved Back A Day - Apr. 10, 2006

GODSMACK's appearance on ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" has been moved to Friday, April 28 from the previously announced April 27. According to a posting on the band's web site, GODSMACK "will now be playing five songs on the outdoor stage. The first and last will be aired live." The band will also be performing on NBC-TV's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Wednesday, April 26.

GODSMACK will be the featured guests on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline" airing Monday, May 1. The live show begins at 8:30 p.m. PT / 11:30 p.m. ET, and fans are encouraged to call in with questions during the program at (800) 344-ROCK (7625). GODSMACK's video for their new single, "Speak" (audio: Windows Media), has been posted online at this location. The band's new album, titled "IV" (Four), comes out on April 25. It follows up the band's 2003 disc, "Faceless", and 2004's acoustic EP, "The Other Side".

	They started as an Alice In chains cover band, and I give them props for breaking out of that to do their own thing. However they sound nothing like Alice In Chains and never will. Whatever though, being in Boston, I just have a hard time accepting them when there are so many other local bands here that smoke Godmack. And I'm quite sick of the fucking name 'Sully'! Jackass probobly isn't even Irish. I hear the new track on the radio and it sounds just like every other song they put out. It's tired.

	godsmack is fucking great band who combines great instrumentals with a good vocals and an amazing live show, and jus because they started off as a cover band of alice in chains, they broke away from that role you dumbasses and now their albums are going platinum. to all the people who knock them you should go take a bath with a toaster along with all the ICP fans you bitches
