PEARL JAM To Perform On 'Late Show With David Letterman'

PEARL JAM will appear on CBS' "Late Show with David Letterman" on May 4, two days after their self-titled album hits stores. Singer Eddie Vedder and the rest of PEARL JAM will also perform this weekend on NBC's "Saturday Night Live".
PEARL JAM's new single, "World Wide Suicide", is available as a call tone and ringer exclusively through Sprint. Fans who preorder "Pearl Jam" through Apple's iTunes Music Store will receive exclusive video footage of the band in the studio plus a bonus audio track of "Why Go", drawn from a December 31, 1992, show in New York. That full concert is included as a bonus CD for preorders submitted via the PEARL JAM site.

When they played San Diego Sports Arena six years ago, people would park across the street in the Home Depot parking lot so they would not have to pay for parking in the Sports Arena lot. They were towing cars from the Home Depot plaza of the concertgoers. I was working the nightcrew at Home Depot, and I come out at 5 a.m. and my car is gone. The police had it towed thinking I was a concertgoer for that shitty overated band. I called the police and told them my car had been stolen, and they said " oh no, it wasn't stolen, it was towed, because you left it there to go to a concert across the street."
I told them I didn't go to any concert, and that i worked the night crew at Home Depot. They apoligized, but said i would have tp pay for the tow. I lost it, telling them WHY SHOULD I PAY, WHEN I DID NOT DO ANYTHING WRONG!!??
Within a half-hour my car was back, along with an officer who said I did not have tp pay, and that they apoligize for the inconvenience.
I told him that I was going to sue the city, sue the owner of the lot, sue the Sports Arena, and sue Pearl Jam for their millions.
Of course that was anger talking, but six months later I was in the record store and looking through the new releases section, and you know what I see.
PEARL JAM SAN DIEGO OCTOBER 2000.
I look back at it now and laugh.

Yes, Pearl Jam rules but I'm fan of their first three albums ("Ten", "VS" and "Vitalogy"). Other albums have some great songs but also plenty of average.
Still, this is a band with integrity and attitude, they was one of my favorite bands in the middle '90's, and THEY ROCKS!
And Eddie Vedder is one of BEST rock vocalist EVER!!!

will completely overshadow the new Pearl Jam, which is more of the same shit. It's similar to Yield in terms of how the songs sound but they have not evolved at all as a band.

I saw them in 1998 and I fell off the side of an eroded sidewalk at the venue. I landed on the ground and grabbed my ankle because it felt so funny. My foot flopped completely over....I had broken my fucking foot off of my leg bone. Right behind me, someone fell and broke their leg at the same time.
So I didn't get to see the show. I did sue the venue for not tending to their sidewalks and won $15,000.00 though.
Going to a Pearl Jam concert can be dangerous but lucative business.

I never understood the success these guys had. I'll admit that the musicianship is tight, but the music isnt very interesting(just my opinion).
What I really can't stand is that idiot known as Eddie Vedder. Hey Eddie, go write another song like "White Male American." You know, the song where you completely trash white people for being a bunch of rich, priveleged fucks. I think some of their rockin stuff like "Go" or "Satan's Bed" is awesome. But, usually there is only 1 or 2 of those on every album. I can't stand the melodic, slower stuff which apparently they love.
I'm pretty sure Pearl Jam doesn't control the cost of parking at the San Diego Sports Arena.

My take on W.M.A shows my ignorance? All you have to do is read the lyrics, Eddie's message is quite easy to understand.

take these lyrics for example:
"He won the lottery when he was born"...(meaning all whites are rich and priveleged)
"Took his mother's white breast to his tongue...trained like dogs, color and smell" (meaning we're racists who are trained to sniff out dark people)
"Jesus greets me, looks just like me...Do no wrong, so clean cut...dirty his hands it comes right off" (Meaning White's equate themselves to god, and that our hands are dirty with crime and foul play, but white privelege keeps us above the law).
It's obvious what Eddie's doing here. He's trying to prove to his liberal buddies that he's not a racist and he does so by dumping on his own kind...that's a typical move that White liberals use.
