PAUL STANLEY Working On 'KISS Series' Paintings - Apr. 17, 2006

KISS guitarist/vocalist Paul Stanley is working on a series of four new paintings, each one features a KISS member and lyrics to a song that is identified with them. The first two available are "Love Gun" featuring Paul and "God of Thunder" featuring Gene Simmons. More information is available at this location.

As a band, KISS has long been known for its outrageous costumes and explosive stage shows. Now the hardcore glam rockers hope they'll be known not only for their makeup but also for their new pair of fragrances, which are due on 2,000 department store counters this September. Also on the KISS-related front, Sideshow is currently offering KISS figures in the Premium Format line. Each band member stands a full 20 inches tall, and is dressed in a miniature reproduction of the "Destroyer"-era costumes. A variety of materials have been used to recreate each band member's signature look, including high quality polystone, real fabric, sequins, rhinestones, and metal. These KISS figures will be the centerpiece of any KISS collection, the largest and most accurate reproductions ever created. No other KISS collectible has captured the personality, attitude, and menace of the band in the way that Premium Format does.

	Paul Stanley has finished his series of KISS paintings. Originally planned to be limited to the original four KISS members, Stanley decided to extend the series to include all KISS members. The Mark St. John and Vinnie Vincent paintings should be the final installment.

	We know it damn sure won't be singer and thayer in the paintings then.They have not done shit with kiss.It's more than obvious that it's Peter and Ace used for the figures as well!!!
