AXL ROSE, LEMMY, CHAD KROEGER Are Among '100 Unsexiest Men In The World'

GUNS N' ROSES frontman Axl Rose, MOTÖRHEAD mainman Lemmy Kilmister and NICKELBACK singer Chad Kroeger are among the 100 Unsexiest Men in the World, according to ThePhoenix.com. After pouring through thousands of photographs, millions of frames of movies and TV shows, the staff at ThePhoenix.com has compiled a list of the least sexy males on the planet. Kroeger, who makes the list at No. 6, is included in the Top 100 not just because of "the massive head, weird face, and bad hair," but "also the fact that he's in NICKELBACK, the worst band since the dawn of music," according to the web site. Meanwhile, Rose comes in at No. 25 based solely on his appearance during the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards. As for Lemmy, his inclusion at No. 90 is justified by the following simple explanation: "Sadly, the ravages of time have not been kind to him." To check out the complete list, click here.

I was reading an old magazine I had the other day & saw a subtitle which read 'Chad Kroeger: Mouthpiece, arrogant & quite frankly the ugliest man in rock'. So, naturally, when you read something as stupid as that you're gonna assume it's a joke so I thought Kool & The Gang, "the guy writing this has got a sense of humour at least" until I read on & was given the obvious impression the bloke wasn't exactly too keen on them. But given the curious lass I am, I read on & was gradually getting more & more pissed off as I was reading what this fella was saying about these guys & is it's not bad enough he's making the band look like the most horrible people on the planet - which he succeeded in, I came to about two thirds of the way down & he'd written 'Chad Kroeger - voted number one ugliest man in rock' I thought "Reet, half head - was your dad an ice dancer taking it up the balloon knot? Because you have to get your dillusion from somewhere - cos have you not seen the bassist?" No, I'm joking hah, but I was left thinking there must be history & obvious conflict between the guy writing & one of the members of Nickelback but when I read a bit further down, I found out that it was just because 'Nickelback are nothing but a corporate, wartered-down version of Nirvana' APPARENTLY. This guy's writing about bands in rock magazines & clearly he hasn't the foggiest who either Nirvana or Nickelback are if he's writing that bollocks... and Grunge? Care to elaborate? Cos last time I checked Grunge music developed from kids who have evolved from bad backgrounds or broken homes where a graveyard is the only place to hang out and where churches outnumber everything. A place where your mates would rather kill themselves than use their imagination, where there is nothing around, so you have to build an imaginary world up in your head, which then leads to personal, strong views and a strong personality. It all contributes to the final product of a young and angry musician. You fucking own it, and your not gonna do what anyone wants you to do. Par example: Kurt fucking Cobain...
Nickelback sound nothing like Nirvana!
Then he put 'I hate Grunge anyway - it's vulgar & hideous' Sorry, love but who on God's green Earth made you King? If you think its that fucking bad, dont listen to it & don't make up bollocks that you haven't a clue about! So shit if the lyrics say "I wanna fuck you like a beast", it's hardly gonna say "One wants to stick thy penis up thou's vagina", is it? It's Grunge music - not easy fucking listening. And although we say it, and even think it, no-one wants Satan to "rule the world". It's just something that enhances the experience. So what if we use 'the Devils Horns' It is the symbol of Metal and Rock! My life revolves around it, my world revolves around it, it's what I fucking live for. Wether it be Zeppelin, Free, Nickelback or fucking Disturbed!
Grunge/Metal music is about sticking your guns, and staying true to what you believe in. It's like a fucking lifestyle, its virtually impossible to meet someone who can say "ahh, yeah, I liked Nirvana for like a week, but I got over it". No fan is like that, I've never met that bloke, I've only met the bloke that has Nirvana lyrics carved into his arm. You cant love it and leave it, you love it forever. Fact? Maybe its just me, Im not a casual person, when I like something, I like it, there is no end, It's real. Grunge isn't casual music, anyway. When you follow the music and live up to the musicians lifestyles, you are a member of the fucking group! But lets face it, it's classed as 'outsider' music, involved with 'outsider' subjects and thats where it all begins. It begins when lasses don't care about shopping or what new fucking top is in fashion, or when lads don't care about the latest football top but its when you care about the fucking Adam's family, and your not telling people this cos it's 'cool' cos it certainly doesn't appear to be cool, cos its turning you into the fucking wierd kid, but no-one wants to be the wierd kid, it just ends up that way, and Grunge/Metal is sort of like that, except its all the wierd kids in one place!!
And I'm not implying people who like Nickelback aren't passionate or anything, cos I know for sure as hell I am and I'm a huge Nickelback fan but Grunge is about people trapped in the music and the biggest thing that divides Grunge & Rock is that Grunge music is litterally a lifestyle, which I'm all for, too but this guy obviously didn't know the difference between the two genre's, that's of course giving him the credit of knowing what a genre is.
Grunge. What a wanker, yeah I can totally see all the Nickelback fans in a most pit rocking out with their cocks out to a bit of Far Away. I mean, honestly, the band are arguabley the hard rock sucsess story of 2001 to like 2003, they're unassuming, intelligent & hugley talented & that's all this guy can say about them.
Chad Kroeger is the bands manager & producer for the love of the Lord & he's the reason they took off with the third album, Silver Side Up & the reason in 1996 when their first album, Curb debuted they resulted in touring with Creed & Fuel & he did enough to attract the attention of a record company that released their second album, The State which sold something like 1/2 a million records in the US I think. So that bloke should shove a cork in it & have a word with himself because he's obviously focusing more on the bands attire & haircut than he is on anything else, and if he's writing shit like this about new bands & people are listening to the moron... that's gonna jeprodise their shot at making it big.
What a wanker.
I'd like to know what instrument he plays & where we can listen to it.
