OZZY OSBOURNE To Guest On BOB DYLAN Tribute Album - Apr. 20, 2006

MOUNTAIN guitarist Leslie West recently told the Lansing State Journal that Ozzy Osbourne will record guest vocals for an upcoming BOB DYLAN tribute album. The disc will be an electrified take on Dylan's classics and will feature A-list names such as Todd Wolf, who has written, produced and performed for Sheryl Crow's band.

West has been involved in a never-ending string of musical projects since the birth of MOUNTAIN. Most recently, he helped produce modern rockers CLUTCH's new album. He released an instructional guitar DVD. He's even laid down guitar tracks for Ozzy. That was last year, when Ozzy covered "Mississippi Queen" for his "Under Cover" collection.

	I wonder what song he'll pick... It's not that much a trainwreck when you think about it. Both artists have very distinct voices.

	This is like the billionth Dylan tribute CD. Plus they both sing through their noses and mumble a lot so there's not much to cover here.

	that sucks, I can't stand to listen to Dylan. This will be one that I will steer far away from. Glad to hear that Ozzy is going to try to mumble a song on it though.

	Ozzy is a joke that never did anything on his own. He has always been propped up by a guitar hero or mindless fans who think he had anything to do with his success.

	That was pretty vague, it would have been a bit more news worthy if there was actually a name of a song that Ozzy was going to contribute to this tribute album.

	Nobody can argue with that. Ozzy shouldn't do this, he may like Dylan but don't ruin his work for the love of god!
