MOONSTONE PROJECT: Ambitious CD Project Finally Available - Apr. 24, 2006
MOONSTONE PROJECT, the ambitious musical creature of Italian guitarist Matt Filippini, has finally released its debut album, "Time to Take a Stand". The CD is described as a collection of classic rock songs written by Filippini himself and played by his band, along with some rock legend guests: Ian Paice (DEEP PURPLE), Glenn Hughes (DEEP PURPLE, BLACK SABBATH), Graham Bonnet (RAINBOW, MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP, ALCATRAZZ, IMPELLITTERI, BLACKTHORNE), Eric Bloom (BLUE ÖYSTER CULT), and Paul Shortino (ROUGH CUTT, QUIET RIOT, HEAVEN & EARTH).

The European version of "Time to Take a Stand" features the following track listing:

01. Slave of Time (with Kelly Keeling)
02. Not Dead Yet (with Graham Bonnet and Howie Simon)
03. Fire & Water (cover of Free classic)
04. Rose in Hell (with Glenn Hughes and Ian Paice)
05. Beggar of Love (with James Christian)
06. Where do You Hide the Blues You've Got (with Glenn Hughes and Ian Paice)
07. City of Listes (with Steve Walsh)
08. Pictures of My Lonely Days (with Paul Shortino and Carimine Appice)
