OZZY OSBOURNE Will Not Be Appearing On BOB DYLAN Tribute Album

According to Ozzyhead.com, a representative for Ozzy Osbourne has refuted published reports that Ozzy will record guest vocals for an upcoming BOB DYLAN tribute album. The original article, which was published by the Lansing State Journal, suggested that Ozzy would be appearing on the disc alongside MOUNTAIN guitarist Leslie West. The CD was described in the story as "an electrified take on Dylan's classics" that "will feature A-list names such as Todd Wolf, who has written, produced and performed for Sheryl Crow's band."

Bob Dylan a sell out? Step off fuck heads. Ozzy is the biggest sell out there ever was. Ozzy and his wife are nothing but about money. Dylan may not have the best voice in the world but he wrote great music. Music with meaning, heart and soul.

LIVE us alone? You know, Ozzy and Dylan ARE both unintelligible, but even in type half of the people here are, too.
The TRUTH is, a Dylan tribute isn't going to sell. Now, that's not a jab at Dylan, it's just that SO MANY have already recorded his stuff - Hendrix, Clapton, et al - that a recording of bands today doing it would just be pointless. You guys could probably go through your CD's right now and put together a 2 CD Dylan tribute yourselves.
And Sharon isn't going to let Ozzy put his name on ANYTHING that she doesn't think is going to sell like hotcakes. That's what it boils down to.
Besides, Ozzy just did an entire cover album that sounded fucking embarrasing. I applaud him for not doing more of that shit.

I have the highest respect for Ozzy and to Dylan also, but...
1.Ozzy is pussywhipped for letting her wife decide every business related decision. Greatest Hits of Black Sabbath, FUCK OFF !!!
2.Ozzy is pussy for not making a new Black Sabbath album, mr Iommi ja Ward have both said they have alot of stuff just lieing around, recorded jammings and demos or whatever. Look at Deep Purple ja Judas Priest - both active and releasing strong material. Black Sabbath is still stuck in the 70s and their reunion will not be sealed unless a new Sabbath album is made. So for now we a left with the song that are 30 years old but still classics and heavy stuff, by the way I saw them live last summer in Finland and they kicked ass, but still...
3.Ozzy is finishing the next solo album which is great news of course since he is still a solo artist, though doing gigs with Sabbath from time to time. Down to Earth rocked !!!

Thank fuck. Dylan's "singing" makes my toes curl as it is without having to hear Ozzy's shell of a voice yarbling over "Like A Rolling Stone". My local classic rock station even played the original version of "Fire" by the Crazy World Of Arthur Brown recently and I actually found myself enjoying it even more than Ozzy's version.

Any examples of what Dylan has done in the last 30 years that has meant anything? He went from playing accoustic to electric back when that wasn't "cool", and he wrote a handful of good songs that people have covered much more than the original.
As was stated - very overrated.
