SLAYER To Play Two Pre-UNHOLY ALLIANCE Shows in Early June

According to a posting on the SLAYER fan site SlayerSaves.com, SLAYER have officially confirmed that they will be playing two warm-up shows along with MASTODON and THINE EYES BLEED prior to their Unholy Alliance Tour. The warm-up dates are as follows: Jun. 02 - Sparks, NV @ New Oasis Jun. 03 - Chico, CA @ Senator Theater To view the full Unholy Alliance North American tour itinerary — featuring SLAYER alongside LAMB OF GOD, MASTODON and CHILDREN OF BODOM (who will rotate the second and third slots), and THINE EYES BLEED, who will open the shows — click here. As previously reported, SLAYER — Tom Araya (bass, vocals), Kerry King (guitars), Jeff Hanneman (guitars), and Dave Lombardo (drums) — have finished recording tracks for their as-yet-untitled new album, due out this fall, and have commenced the mixing process. This album is the first new studio album since 1990's "Seasons In The Abyss" that features the entire original SLAYER lineup (drummer Lombardo left the band in 1992 and rejoined in 2003). Rick Rubin, who helped solidify the much-emulated SLAYER sound beginning with their genre-defining 1986 classic "Reign In Blood", is executive-producing, and Josh Abraham ( KORN, VELVET REVOLVER, ATREYU) is producing. Working songtitles include "Catalyst", "Cult", "Catatonic", "Jihad", "Eyes of the Insane", "Supremist", and "Consfearacy".

...thank you for reminding me how much I LOVE coming here. When I was a kid, my old man (an educated man, I suppose you would say) would proof-read my homework. Were he to find any spelling or grammatical errors, he'd lecture me for days. At the time, I hated him for it, but in hindsight, I'm glad he did. See the above posts for what happens when basic education (such as spelling and grammar) go horribly, horribly wrong...

what really confuses me is why fans moan about divine intervention, surly if your favourite is reign and or seasons then he next best thing is divine?
Its like the cousin to reign and the brother to seasons.
The new album will kick so much ass, but i dnt think it will be bcause they have their original line up- well in one sense yes because of the atmisphere within them but otherwise no. its all in the mind.
Divine bettered everything after it.
NOW THAT! IS A CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED ALBUM.
It owned 1994 even with burn my eyes competing.
