SLIPKNOT Mask-Wearing Robbers On The Loose

Eyewitness News Memphis is reporting that four armed and dangerous gunmen — including one wearing a replica of a mask worn by SLIPKNOT drummer Joey Jordison — stormed into a Memphis supermarket Saturday (April 29) and stole money from the store's cash registers and the First Tennessee Bank inside the store. One of the robbers shot a store employee in the face. A surveillance camera captured it all. Police think the gunmen are the same robbers who stormed a Tri-State Bank inside a different Memphis-area supermarket on on April 21. In both cases one of the gunmen was wearing the Joey Jordison mask, of which the FBI says very few have been sold in the Mid-South. Read the rest of the report at this location. Does anyone remember when that Clown character filed suit against Burger King for BK's mockery of Slipknot (and Jamster) in those funny-as-hell-commercials?
Just a random thought. Wondering if anyone recalls that little spat.
But about this, hopefully the guys will be caught and taught the following two lessons:
(1) Being a criminal is NOT a productive thing to do in life,
and
(2) Slipknot blows chunks. There are so many more enjoyable ways to spend one's money than on a Joey Jordison mask. Like buying a fuchsia-metal album, for instance.

I will put it like this.
Alice In Chains were a direct influence on Godsmack's music (stating the obvious), as were Metallica and many others. But nobody MENTIONS all the others because... they didn't lift their band name from a Metallica songtitle, now did they?
The answer to your question is no, they did not intend for their band name to reflect the AIC song. I have already explained the real origin of their band name and refuse to lower myself to your level by explaining it again. It only takes forty-two finger muscles to scroll the bitchin' screen up.

When you say this, you are concluding that Godsmack as a whole, has one dick.
Since there are enough men in the band for me to count on my fingers (and use up more than just ONE finger), I'm assuming you meant to pluralize "dick". As in... "dicks."
That is, unless you are trying to insult my good friends in Godsmack by implying that they are binded together with some cohesive glue. In which case I'll totally not hesitate to kick your ass.

Why would anyone be pissed at the robbers? it's their(slipknot's) legacy! if I was joey or anyone in slipknot i'd be kind of proud and smirk and go look at those organized mofo's that did that like them guys in that movie point break. it's good for them because it gives them a somewhat dangerous profile. very unfortunate that someone was shot in the face though, they must have been UGLY! i mean, a robber wearing a slipknot mask? that's pretty slick and i'm not even into them. I agree with Teapot in that I too heard an interview with godsmack about their name and it was about the karma story where Sully made fun of their guitarist I believe it was for having a sore in his mouth and the next day Sully had one and the guitarists was gone...
