ANTHRAX To Open For ROB ZOMBIE On 'American Witch Across America' Tour

ROB ZOMBIE have tapped ANTHRAX to open for them on their upcoming "American Witch Across America" tour, which is scheduled to kick off later this spring. Exact cities and dates will be announced soon.
ROB ZOMBIE's latest album, "Educated Horses", has sold 231,000 copies in the United States since its March 28 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD was recorded at Los Angeles' Chop Shop Studios with co-producer Scott Humphrey, who had previously worked with Rob on the platinum hits "Hellbilly Deluxe" and "The Sinister Urge". Other musicians contributing to the CD include Josh Freese (A PERFECT CIRCLE, VANDALS) and Tommy Lee (MÖTLEY CRÜE).
"Educated Horses" is the former WHITE ZOMBIE vocalist's first collection of new music since 2001's "The Sinister Urge", following a break in which he wrote and directed his first two feature films, "House of 1000 Corpses" and "The Devil's Rejects".
Zombie is currently scripting his next feature film, but has not yet announced what it will be. An animated movie based on his El Superbeasto comic book character is due out sometime later this year.

I love to see the animosity that grows toward me, day by day. Then again, I still have so much admiration for my loyal fans. Thanks to all of you who support me. You know who you are.
And to clarify how I'm related to Robert (or, as you people might refer to him, Rob Zombie), he's my uncle.
Why, I remember the days when I'd sit on Robert's knee, and he'd tell me stories about how cool it was to gain so much success with White Zombie. I even helped him write "Thunder Kiss '65."

I remember 13 years ago seing White Zombie open for Anthrax at Roy Wilkins in St. Paul..Hmmm John Bush was in the band then..and now Joey is back in the band, so DAN SPITZ if im "doing the math", I would say if this classic lineup continues, it may have been the last time they headline an auditorim size venue?

Rob zombie always hits up here and I love anthrax. Although I do agree it should be the other way around, im sure anthrax will get a big set though. I bet they didnt want to headline either though, they are supposed to be spending time writing new music!
That is one show I dont want to miss!
