Tony Martin (ex-BLACK SABBATH) will be joining Metal Express Radio's "Premiere Friday" today (May 5) to present six tracks from the new EMPIRE album, "The Raven Ride", on which he handles the lead vocals. During the show, you will also hear an interview with Tony where he talks about his past, present, and future.

Be sure to tune in at 15:00 and 21:00 Central European Time (9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. New York City time) to catch the exclusive 30-minute album premiere.

For more information, visit www.metalexpressradio.com.

EMPIRE is the brainchild of German guitarist Rolf Munkes (RAZORBACK, ex-MAJESTY, VANIZE). The group's third album, "Raven Ride" is scheduled for release on May 12 via AOR Heaven Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Trading Souls" (Lion Music) features guest appearances by Martin, drummer Andre Hilgers (AXXIS, SILENT FORCE, RAZORBACK) and bassist Neil Murray (WHITESNAKE, BLACK SABBATH, M3). Martin and Murray had both appeared on "Trading Souls", which featured additional contributions from DEEP PURPLE keyboardist Don Airey and current HAMMERFALL/ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN drummer Anders Johansson. A 90-second audio sample of the "Raven Ride" title track is available at this location.

I, for one, liked Tony Martin's albums with Sabbath. I think he received a lot of unfair critism (which, by the way, was what I think the song "Feels Good To Me" was about) by the press and other musicians. He probably would have gotten more praise if the band wasn't named Black Sabbath.

- they never say "ex-Black-Sabbath-singer Ronnie James Dio"?

There's a reason for that.

Sad, really.

"Scream" is awesome album, just like his first solo effort "Back Were I Belong" (1992)!

I agree with everything that is been writen above me...
Here are essential Black Sabbath albums with Tony Martin:

1. "Headless Cross" (1989) - MASTERPIECE
2. "Tyr" (1990) - MASTERPIECE
3. "Eternal Idol" (1987) - ALMOST MASTERPIECE
4. "Cross Purposes" (1994) - ALMOST MASTERPIECE
5. "Forbidden" (1995) - VERY, VERY GOOD

HAIL TONY MARTIN!!!
