SEPULTURA To Guest On MTV2's 'Headbanger's Ball'

SEPULTURA members Andreas Kisser (guitar) and Derrick Green (vocals) will be making the trek from Brazil to New York City next week to be guests of MTV2's "Headbanger's Ball". Look for an edited version of the controversial video for "Convicted in Life" to appear on the show soon. A confirmed date for the guest appearance and video premiere will be announced shortly. In the meantime, the band's latest CD, "Dante XXI", remains in the Top 15 of the metal radio charts.
SEPULTURA recently completed a European tour as direct support to Sweden's IN FLAMES. Filling in on drums during the tour was Roy Mayorga, who was standing in for founding member Igor Cavalera. Igor is taking a break from the group's touring activities to spend time with his second wife and their new son (who was born in January). Mayorga, who played with Igor's brother Max in SOULFLY for several years in the late '90s and again in 2001-2003, has since joined STONE SOUR as a full-time member.

Sepultura and In Flames... god damn that would be a sweet show. we get In Flames w. Throwdown (woo hooo... not really) NEvermore (not too shabby) and Evergrey ( never heard to be honest) i'd so much rather have In Flames with Sepultura.
FUCKIN HOSTILE!!!
fuck the haters, too.. cuz this new Sepultura cd is one of the best they've ever made.. with or without Max.

Soulfly.. on the other hand.. is yet to really make anything that competes with their first cd.. maybe cuz they've made the same cd about 4 times..
Dark Ages is a step in the right direction.. its a shame that it just sounds like Sepultura, tho. HAHA

Times had really change, a real band live used to be more than a job that somebody could just fill in for, used to be a ritual, a total spiritual experience out of the conjuration of the members on stage, all together or nothing, that's why real bands like maiden still around and bigger than ever, even when having another activities and responsabilities you don't see nicko mcbrian being replaced on a tour because of his family or dickinson because of his flights, what the hell is this lame new era of metal !!!!!!???????????
