SEPULTURA: 'Convicted In Life' Video Posted Online

SEPULTURA's video for the track "Convicted in Life" has been posted online at YouTube.com. The clip was shot over a two-day period in February in São Paulo, Brazil. Check out pictures from the shoot at this location. "Convicted in Life" ( mp3) comes off the group's latest album, "Dante XXI", which was released in North America on March 14 via SPV. As previously reported, SEPULTURA members Andreas Kisser (guitar) and Derrick Green (vocals) will be making the trek from Brazil to New York City this week to be guests of MTV2's "Headbanger's Ball". Look for an edited version of the controversial video for "Convicted in Life" to appear on the show soon. A confirmed date for the guest appearance and video premiere will be announced shortly. In the meantime, the band's latest CD, "Dante XXI", remains in the Top 15 of the metal radio charts. SEPULTURA recently completed a European tour as direct support to Sweden's IN FLAMES. Filling in on drums during the tour was Roy Mayorga, who was standing in for founding member Igor Cavalera. Igor is taking a break from the group's touring activities to spend time with his second wife and their new son (who was born in January). Mayorga, who played with Igor's brother Max in SOULFLY for several years in the late '90s and again in 2001-2003, has since joined STONE SOUR as a full-time member.

I confess I'm one of the main detractors of this new Sepulturua. I have to admit that this video is amazing, though.

I've been saying it the WHOLE time! DANTE XXI IS EVIL!!!!!! This video proves it! Fans of the Arise Era should be very happy. Sepultura have not been this evil since arise.

they've seemed to finally have found their niche with Derrick on vocals... everything is perfect on this album... it's more hardcore than thrash, but I love it...

That is, without a doubt, the BEST SEPULTURA VIDEO OF ALL TIME.
After a masterpiece like Dante XXI and such a video it's clear they DO NOT NEED MAX I like Soulfly too and I've seen Sepu with Max and they killed, but the point is they still do, and how. Great GREAT stuff.
