SEPULTURA To Guest On SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO's 'Bloody Roots' - May 15, 2006
SEPULTURA members Andreas Kisser and Derrick Green will be the featured guests on "Bloody Roots" (hosted by author Ian Christe) on Sirius Satellite Radio's Hard Attack on Tuesday, May 16 beginning at 9:00 p.m. EST. "Hear the greatest international success story in metal from the horses' mouths, as we replay tracks covering the band's epic 20-year career and talk about the latest savage creation — 'Dante XXI' — an adaptation of the epic moral poem 'Dante's Inferno'," reads a Sirius press release. Rebroadcast: Friday, May 19 at 3:00 p.m. ET and Sunday, May 21 at noon EST.

According to an SPV Records representative, Kisser and Green will be the featured guests on this Saturday's (May 20) "Headbanger's Ball" episode. "Headbanger's Ball" airs Saturday nights between 10:00 p.m. and midnight EST on MTV2.

As previoulsly reported, SEPULTURA's video for the track "Convicted in Life" has been posted online at YouTube.com, MTV Brasil. The clip was shot over a two-day period in February in São Paulo, Brazil. Check out pictures from the shoot at this location.

"Convicted in Life" (mp3) comes off the group's latest album, "Dante XXI", which was released in North America on March 14 via SPV.

SEPULTURA recently completed a European tour as direct support to Sweden's IN FLAMES. Filling in on drums during the tour was Roy Mayorga, who was standing in for founding member Igor Cavalera. Igor is taking a break from the group's touring activities to spend time with his second wife and their new son (who was born in January). Mayorga, who played with Igor's brother Max in SOULFLY for several years in the late '90s and again in 2001-2003, has since joined STONE SOUR as a full-time member.

i like that book ian christe that did but he mustve been on crack cause he called fear factory nu metal. ff is far from nu metal except for digmortal and arise came out in 1991 not 1989. i dont mean to sound like an ass but i could make a better book and i might just do that.
