WICKED WISDOM To Perform On 'The Tonight Show With Jay Leno'

WICKED WISDOM — the five-piece band featuring actress Jada Pinkett Smith (wife of Will Smith) — will be performing on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Wednesday, May 17. The show airs nationally on NBC from 11:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. ET/PT. WICKED WISDOM's self-titled debut album was released in February via 100% Womon/ Suburban Noize Records. WICKED WISDOM recently completed a U.S. tour as the support act for SEVENDUST. The band plan on jumping back on tour this week. A list of upcoming tour dates can be found at this location.

i may be wrong because i have never heard/heard of this band but i just get the feeling this doesn't qualify as "metal enough" to make it on here but again i may be wrong... someone enlighten me on the wonderful world of Wicked Wisdom....the use of alliteration is welcome and appreciated in any response

Wicked Wisdom are quite possibly the shittiest band I have ever heard. Tapping the Vein was the alltime wost in my book, but I'm pretty sure WW sucks just a little bit more donkey balls.

Though even if it was white but sucked as hard, it would still qualify as trash. Shouldn't these fucks be on some shit black tv show like the Berni Mac Show (if a white man made such a shitty attemp at comedy, they'd have him shot)? I saw them at Ozzfest... not the greatest, but certainly not the worst band I've ever seen. The music might not be as great as some others, but they did have a bit of a stage presence.
And I give credit to Jada... she's an actress millionaire, married to one of our times most popular musical artist (for better or worse) and actor, Will Smith. Practically known the world over. She could have very easily gotten into the pop scene and made it big. But she chose metal, paid to get on the second stage of Ozzfest and took a LOT of shit from the crowd for the duration of the tour. And she stood up there and took it all and never backed down. For that she gets respect in my book. She might not be into the underground or her band might not be the heaviest band around... but she has a respect for the music at least. Might not be the most, but it's something and she seems to at least appreciate it and its crowd.
The most talented band out there? No, not by a long shot. Not the worst, however.

than this sorry excuse for a "metal" band. Not sure what genre they fit in, I think they actually created a new one, awful talking/rapping female vocals, tuned to A chugga shit riffs with no knowledge of theory whatsoever. I could eat a chalupa combo and diarrhea shit into a microphone and sound better than this band.

Look, I know that the thing on this site is to bash any band that doesn't sound like Cannible Corpse or Deicide, but I have heard Wicked Wisdom's album, and it not the best, and is not the worst. (I would never buy it). I did manage to see this band at a small venue in Arkansas a few months ago and I thought they rocked out!!! Great stage presence and cool live riffs!!! They never stopped rocking and the double bass drum sounded good live too. The band also hung around after the show to shoot the shit with the crowd and drink with them. I respected that. I spoke with Jada and I truly think that the does this because she likes the music. Think about it...There are other ways for her to draw attention to herself, beside getting shit on by a bunch of stupid know-it-alls who have never been in a successful band in our lives!!! I say cut her a little slack and let her Rock Out!! It seems like the more you shit all over her the more she wants to push her band.
Just my thoughts!!!!

I saw Wicked Wisdom on Letterman and remember remarking to my brother..."this is some of the worst music I've ever heard". It took me all of 30 seconds to realize that it was Jada making all that shrieking over a song that would make creed seem talented by comparison. This band is awful, even the bad brains are embarassed by these hacks. Shit, bring back body count with Ice-T!!!
