AEROSMITH: Producer For New Album Revealed

According to The Boston Globe, AEROSMITH's new album will be produced by Steve Lillywhite, who has worked with U2 and MORRISSEY. The band will enter the studio on May 20 to begin laying down tracks. People magazine reported earlier in the month that Tyler was recovering from his recent throat surgery by vacationing in Mexico with his new girlfriend, tour promoter Erin Brady. [See scan of People article at Steven-Tyler.net.] AEROSMITH were forced to cancel a bunch of shows on their spring tour after Tyler suffered a broken blood vessel in his voice box. He recently told RollingStone.com that the injury is all healed.

Interesting choice. I am hoping it's better than Honkin on a Bobo. Well then again Stephen Tyler chocking the life out of a dying cat and Kramer farting on a snare drum would sound better than Honkin on a bobo.

I've loved these cats since I first heard them. They're 'still' tops in my favorite bands! Mr. Steve Tyler, I hope your recovery and healing mend with Godspeed! I hope you had fun on your B'day too. Last year, I got an AEROSMITH t-shirt, from "Spencers", as a gift, & I luv it! "GET YOUR WINGS" Keep singing, baby! (SWAK) :X

Aerosmith sounding like "October"-era U2 beats Aerosmith sounding like Air Supply any day.

Any of you whining about the choice of Steve Lillywhite as producer obviously show your limited taste in music.
Among other things, he also produced U2's "War", and co-produced and mixed stuff on the "Joshua Tree" and "Achtung Baby."
Although most would consider those classic albums, they obviously suck since they're not metal... asswipes!!

U2 sucks. Sorry mate.
And I'm not a dumb-metal lover. I'm a rock n roll fan (Stones, Zeppelin, Sabbath), and I still think that U2 sucks.
Maybe I've got limited taste in music, but I don't give a fuck, and U2 still sucks.
And you know what? U2 sucks.

Sorry to inform you, but plenty of geezers on this site think that the Stones, Zeppelin, and Sabbath suck. I'm not one of them, but it just goes to show that one man's turd is another man's rose. Just because you think something sucks doesn't make it so.
And speaking of Rose, plenty of people on this site also think that he sucks too... It's all a matter of taste... I'm just sayin'.

the first thing this producer should do is buy steven and joe some blow, so they can make another "rocks" and "toys in the attic." that would kick ass.
