GUNS N' ROSES Frontman AXL ROSE To Move To New York?

The New York Post's "Page Six" column reports:
GUNS N' ROSES fanatics who can't get enough of the band's sold-out comeback shows at Hammerstein Ballroom can take solace in the fact that Axl Rose may be moving to town. The formerly reclusive rocker, who's become a fixture on the Manhattan club scene in recent weeks, is rumored to be looking to buy a posh downtown pad. At Monday night's show, Rose told the crowd that no matter how he tries to disguise himself here, "I'll be in a cab and some guy driving a dump truck will go, 'Hey Axl!' How do they [bleeping] know it's me?"

WRONG! Axl is actually quite sensitive to any negative reviews about his career. I happen to know that it was a semi-negative comment made in 2002 by a member of the Howard Stern show that crushed Axl's confidence, forcing him to abruptly pull the plug on his tour and put all future band plans on hold.
Also, let's not forget that bands are successful or unsuccessful based on the fans. If the fans turn their backs on a band, the band's career dries up! So you can act like our opinions don't matter, but the opinions of record-buyers are all that matters in the music business.
If Axl wants to reclaim his previous success, he needs to give the fans what we want ...and we want the real GNR lineup, not a cover band of random no-namers.
General Ceel, the fact that you're defending Axl's cover band so aggressively tells me that you're either a family member of Axl or you're on the GNR payroll.

That may be true in some cases, but in others it is dead wrong. I hate Axl Rose because he is A) A washed-up loser and a bum and B) An unappreciative, whiny idiot. I am not envious of Axl in any way, shape, or form, and I do not fear him in any way, shape, or form either. Am I ignorant? Let's see. I think he's a washed-up loser because he just is getting this attention because of past albums and a past line-up, and he doesn't really deserve it, at all. Now he's riding the gravy-train because of it, and that to me is a deplorable move on the part of him, because although it is finanically beneficial to him -- it reflects something on his character which is less than good. Oh what else, oh yea, let's see, he is certainly unappreciative. What kind of a person schedules a tour and then A) Doesn't show up or B) Shows up so late they play for about 20 minutes, and then wrecks the entire tour and it all falls apart. Name one modern band that can do that and still have fans and not get torn apart by the metal community. If another band did it, it'd be terrible --but no, it's Axl Rose, we should worship him....? Completely messed up. That just shows that he doesn't even care about fans, no band that cares about the fans would do that. And then he whines and whines and whines endlessly. I mean life must be so HARD when you're able to do the dream of many and play music and get filthy rich off of it.
So all in all General, you're alot more respectable than alot of people here, but I don't see where you're coming from there. Perhaps it's just because you're a fan of Guns and Roses that you can't see how horrible Axl really is. He's just a farce now, really. And people who want to re-live the "glory days" of GNR are into him. Well I have bad news for you guys, the "glory days" are in 1987, and not in 2006.

Im a real estate agent and I have had the pleasue of selling Axl his place, He hooked me up with passes to the show and everyone had a blast... We got fucked up ...sebastian, myself, axl, evan seinfeld, tera patrick, kid rock,vinny paul and even jimmy motherfuckin fallon was there.....
his place is in soho but thats all i can say... Except that axl rose is GOD
