Extremely Rare OZZY OSBOURNE Song Unearthed: Sample Available - May 18, 2006
OZZY OSBOURNE fan site Ozzyhead.com has posted the following update:

"In 1977, a singer/song writer/producer by the name of Chris Sedgwick asked his close friend Ozzy Osbourne, who was living in the U.K., to sing back-up vocals on a cover of the ANIMALS song 'Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood'. Ozzy complied, and along with the help of some local musicians by the name of Benjamin Marcus, and Caldwell, the track was laid down and pressed on a 7" vinyl single, and distributed under the label Birmingham Free Music to local pubs to be played in the jukeboxes. The B-side of this single contained a song entitled 'Have You Ever Bin Loved' which was sung by Chris Sedgwick alone (no Ozzy). It is said that only 100 copies were pressed, of which most were destroyed in a fire.

"This song ['Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood'] has remained unheard for almost the last 30 years...until now. Get out your wallets, because this extremely rare single is up for auction on eBay. You can bid on this single here." A 30-second audio sample of the track can be downloaded at this location.

sounds like late 70s era, one of the lighter songs on Technical Ecstacy. How about a rare unreleased version of Ozzy singing "It's alright"?

If you read the credits to the Black Sabbath self titled Lp, Ozzy is spelled Ossie.
