GUNS N' ROSES Get In The Ring!

BLABBERMOUTH.NET has received the following press release from Sanctuary Management:
Tommy Hilfiger was carried away by his own security people kicking and screaming after attempting to pick a fight with GUNS N' ROSES mainman Axl Rose at The Plumm on Thursday night.
According to The Plumm owner Noel Ashman, Hilfiger who took two swings at Rose, was fortunate that he found Rose in good spirits and a forgiving mood. Ashman said "Axl was a gentleman and had the good sense not to retaliate as he would have done some serious damage to Hilfiger."
Rose, who was at the club to play a surprise acoustic set with his band GUNS N' ROSES for actress Rosario Dawson's birthday party, filled out a police report and later dedicated the song "You're Crazy" to "My good friend Tommy Hilfiger" during the band's scorching performance, which left the way-beyond-capacity crowd screaming for more and gasping for air well into the wee hours of the morning. Said birthday girl Dawson of Rose: "They've never played all acoustic. This is history in the making. How much does this fucking man rock?!"

it's more likely that Sanctuary management needed more
ways to hype up Axl's tired ass.
They probably staged the whole thing with Hilfiger. If you
think this is legit then you probably don't know how to read
any of this anyway.

I think everybody at blabbermouth can learn a lesson from this little incident. Axl is out there putting on shows, minding his own business, doing what he loves. But there are assholes every where trying to keep the man down. Former members of GnR, blabbermouth posters, and now Tommy Hilfiger. Everybody wants to take a shot at a legend. For some reason, especially in America, people have an obsession with destroying their heros these days.

Axl...just get the CD out already by Oct. of THIS YEAR 2006...do a US tour and over seas tour to support it...the take a breal and in late 2007 or 2008 GET THE ORIGINAL Guns N' Roses back together (or at least Duff, Izzy and Slash) for a full length tour...Sorum will do at drums...Adler is just too off the wall

this band has hardly even played together. Thats history making. First time in history they have played past the 5 gig mark and picked up acoustic guitars afterward and then ate egg snadwiches. Its the first time in history that that sequence of events took place.

I like GNR but thisisnt GNR. This is the AXL Rose band. its missing 4 or 5 people that were in GnR. I saw GnR all over the east coast and that was awesome. This is like the Axl Rose talent show every night. I have some free tix already when they play L.A.but I may sell them. ANyone in L.A that wants some really good dream seats to this circus when it hits town email me or let me know. I never check this email anymore.

There was a guy on a MMA forum who said he went to high school in Lafayette IN with Axl and Izzy. Said Axl was known as a "tough punk" who would fight anyone and "he had a rep". Said he would see them hanging out in the park but he did not hang out with Axl's crowd. This dude was on the H.S. wrestling team with many guys he named that were listed on the liner notes to AFD, and Shannon Hoon wrestled too he said.
