GUNS N' ROSES Fans Speak Out About New York City Gigs: Audio Available

TalkingMetal.com has posted episode 65 of their "Talking Metal" podcast. In this special episode concluding Talking Metal's current GUNS N' ROSES coverage, die-hard GN'R fans had their chance to speak out about their favorite band during their sold-out four-night stint at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. Interview segments conducted by hosts Mark Strigl and John Ostronomy were recorded at the HereTodayGoneToHell.com party at Mustang Harry's, the TalkingMetal.com party at American Trash, the Tempest Bar, and the sidewalk outside the Manhattan Center's Hammerstein Ballroom. The show also includes a rebroadcast of the AlienRockPodcast.com interview Ostronomy recently conducted with DAMNOCRACY/ex- SKID ROW vocalist Sebastian Bach, who shared the stage with Axl Rose and company during all four historic New York City concerts. Axl can sing a lot better now, from what i've seen. He paces himself a lot more, and he is a decent songwriter. Not worth my money, though.

GNR is dead, and all you "true" fans out there should support what the real GNR band members are doing now and in the last 10 years, because let's face it, that's where the talent of that band lies. AXL will never get my money, or any of my friends money, I will remember GNR as being what they were, not what AXL is trying to make them. AXL is going to run the GNR name into the ground and through the mud. Axl rose rock superstar? or just a plain old joke? is Axl for real thinking that he could continue the G n R rock seen with out Slash Duff and Matt i think that that is a bloody joke. there is no such think as Guns n roses. once they ( referring to matt duff and slash) left guns the only to members left is izzy reed and Axl Rose now with that said that is not really guns n roses. i dont even think that he can rock and stnad out and not afrid to be different now he got blonde cornrows, what happend to the firey red headbanging axl we used to once know and love. and what happend to his voice. thats not music what he is singing now and i think he is actully starting to sound like robert plant. I dont blame Slash duff and matt for geting out while there names where ahead and leaving axl on his crash course on his own. and i think the only reason that izzy is still along by his side is because there friendship that go's back. Axl's 2002 performance at the mtv music awards when he "Tryed" to belt out welcome to the jungle just didnt do it for me. i believe axl has gotten lost in what he is doing and has forgotten what "welcome to the jungle" really stands for. To talk about Axl reliablity. the us actully canceled the rest of his tours for him because he was just not able to do them he either be really late or just not show up. i really wish axl would stop useing guns n roses name on all his crappy songs.oh ya by the way LONG LIVE VELVET REVOLVER!!!

Ladie's and gent's we are sorry to say, AXL has changed his mind tonight, and he has decided to get his cornrow's redone do to an uncontrollable hair. Please be patience, He hasnt called yet, but we expect to hear from him in the next few hour's. We would bring back out the openers but we fear that if and when the ALMIGHTY get's here we will have to hamper to his will and have everything in place or we risk losing our job's. Axl may be flying high for now with his new band of temps, but wait until it's time to create with all of these new musicians he's thrown together.
Axl's gonna end up hating all of these guys just as much as he hates Slash and co. You'll see! They'll all try and write a follow-up record together and then the "real Axl" will come out and make life miserable for those guys.
At some point, Axl will scrap this lineup and probably put together a 3rd version of GNR.

Wouldn't it be funny if one of the GNR temp musicians somehow ended up with ownership of the "GNR" name and dumped Axl? Then they could start touring as GNR with no original members left!
GNR could become like a sports team, with a new roster of musicians every year. GNR would live forever by constantly switching up members. Centuries from now, there would still be a version of GNR touring and recording...They could be the band that lasted one thousand years.
As funny as that scenario sounds, some of you supporters of new GNR would probably support a GNR with no original members too.
