PEARL JAM: 'Life Wasted' Video Available

According to MJI Interactive, PEARL JAM have released their first video since the animated clip for their 1998 track "Do the Evolution". The video for "Life Wasted", the second single off the band's new self-titled album, can be downloaded for free until Wednesday online here. In a recent interview with Launch, PEARL JAM guitarist Mike McCready explained why the band waited until their eighth studio album to simply call the record "Pearl Jam". "We decided that the music on this record was what was gonna say the most about the record," he said. "So the title was kind of secondary, and then it — it's just, it's what it is. It's just who we are, we're PEARL JAM, and that's why we didn't have any thoughts on it, other than the music is what's gonna tell you what it's about." "Pearl Jam" arrived in stores on May 2. It's the group's first studio set since 2002's "Riot Act".

always loved pearl jam and i am glad they came out with a new cd finally. I also love that they have performed in there own video again. first time since jeremy.

FUCK THE HATERS, who cares,... any Pearl jam release is rock solid quality..... And full of emotion ... i listen 2 heavy shit but always love a good melodic listen once in a while...

The new album is great, saw both shows in Toronto, they were fucking awesome, lots of energy, and they played for well over 2 hours
This video is pretty weird for them, but it's pretty cool

Cool video for a great song. Nice to see a good rock and roll band still playing together after all these years. Just saw them last Saturday in Cleveland and they put on an amzing show.

Good album, one of their best in awhile. Good video, kinda reminded me of a Tool video, was kinda weird. Good tune. Good shows in Ma. as well. Hope they come around again soon.
