AUDIOSLAVE's Record Label Explains European Tour Cancellation

Sources at AUDIOSLAVE's record label have told Launch Radio Networks that the band made the decision to cancel their previously announced European tour after being advised that it would be better to hit the road with a new album to support.
The group's third effort, titled "Revelations", is not due out until September at the earliest, although a final release date has yet to be officially announced.
AUDIOSLAVE guitarist Tom Morello recently said that "Revelations" sounds like a cross between LED ZEPPELIN and EARTH, WIND & FIRE.
Morello performed as his folk alter ego, THE NIGHTWATCHMAN, this past Friday (May 19) at a Los Angeles benefit concert for South Central Farm, described as "the largest urban garden in the U.S."
THE NIGHTWATCHMAN will appear tomorrow night (Wednesday, May 24) at a Los Angeles venue called Largo with Jill Sobule.

I used to love Soundgarden alot in the 90s. Then came along Audioslave... I can't for the life of me understand how Cornell can be involved in such a sterile, pedestrian affair after fronting one of the most creative rock bands of the 90s.
I was very disappointed with their first relase. Not that it was really that bad, it was just.... bland.

Could you have a more lame reason to cancel shows? No.
And was not the album supposed to come next month?
Guess some, if not all, members whined they needed a vacation, all summer, and did not want to play any shows which would disrupt their vacation plans. Huh? That's the real truth.

Audioslave is amazing, and by far the best band out there today. I don't know what you idiots are talking about. Obviously if you spend time on here to diss audioslave you are just jealous that all 4 of them are 100x better than the shit you listen to.
