ALICE IN CHAINS: New Live Video Of 'We Die Young' Posted Online - May 23, 2006
A video clip of ALICE IN CHAINS performing the song "We Die Young" on Monday, May 22 at the Avalon in Boston, Massachusetts has been posted online at YouTube.com. Also available is a short clip of AIC guitarist Jerry Cantrell's solo in the track "Love, Hate, Love", recorded on May 18 at The Roxy in West Hollywood, California. Check it out here.

ALICE IN CHAINSCantrell, Kinney, Inez and William DuVall (who will handle lead vocals for the group) — will next hit the stage at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City tonight, May 23. Following the U.S. dates, the band will head overseas for a series of club dates and festival appearances.

As previously reported, a half-hour interview with ALICE IN CHAINS members Cantrell, Kinney and Inez — which aired earlier in the month on the HDNet (High Definition TV) channel as part of the "Sound Off" program with host Matt Pinfield — has been posted online at this location.

considering layne and cornell are two of my biggest inspirations i wouldn't mind seeing chris or eddie front the band as they have worked with previously worked with aic as musicians and friends...

but i kind of thought mike patton would be a badass fit

Too bad the video got removed. I personally would vote for PAT LACHMAN as their new singer. I think William DuVall is talented but they can do better, Pat would be perfect!!!

Right on the money man!!! Mike Patton is who I thought first, would be an awsome frontman for AIC. Not a clone, a copy of anybody but a talented as fuck, great sounding singer.
Too bad we probably won't see this happen :(

I saw AIC open for VH. RIght before they played this song Layne intro'd it by saying "this song is about pain, the type of pain you get when you F your girlfriend in the ass" the entire arena wasn't sure what to say.

I was there last night, and it was a great show. It's the second time I've seen William Duvall sing AIC stuff - first time was when Jerry was touring for Degradation Trip - and he does an awesome job. Bootlegs I've heard don't do him justice. Go and see them before you whine about who you'd rather see singing.

See, I can't make my mind up. (It's a pointless debate, cuz I know it wont ever happen, but I've still got it working in my mind) I have no idea whether or not Patton would suit AIC.
Sure, he's got a godly voice, but I just cant see it working for AIC.

This is the REAL list (and comments made by Jerry Cantrell)stolen from Jerry Cantrells private bathroom of the AIC tour bus.

1.Tom Keifer (Awesome singer and songwriter, plusses Metal MILFs love him)

2."Dizzy" Dean Davidson (Almost as good as getting Keifer plus we could play the American Metal Classic 'Girlschool') 'at the GIRLSCHOOL....cause my baby broke all the rules!'

3. Jani Lane (Fantastic manly voice, better than Lane Staley. Plus from behind he looks like a hot chick.)

4. Ron Keel (Dedicated rock musician who deserves to be as great as he thinks he is.)

5. Marq Torien (Veteran with a small ego and we can do R&B Covers)
