SEPULTURA: 'Uncensored' Version Of 'Convicted In Life' Video Posted Online - May 25, 2006

SEPULTURA's official web site has been updated with the "uncensored" version of the group's video for the track "Convicted in Life". Check it out at this location (Quicktime required). The clip was shot over a two-day period in February in São Paulo, Brazil. Check out pictures from the making of the video at this location.

"Convicted in Life" (mp3) comes off the group's latest album, "Dante XXI", which was released in North America on March 14 via SPV.

SEPULTURA recently completed a European tour as direct support to Sweden's IN FLAMES. Filling in on drums during the tour was Roy Mayorga, who was standing in for founding member Igor Cavalera. Igor is taking a break from the group's touring activities to spend time with his second wife and their new son (who was born in January). Mayorga, who played with Igor's brother Max in SOULFLY for several years in the late '90s and again in 2001-2003, has since joined STONE SOUR as a full-time member.

	I'm glad they made this album. I all but gave up on Sepultura. This album is proof they can function without Max.

	haven't see the video yet, but I'm sure its awesome. the new album is great. its interesting to see how Derreck is gradually becoming more and more involved in the writing process (the whole Dante concept was entirely his idea) with each album. who knows, he could take over the band one day just like Andreas did. ha,ha! ok, now is the time for me to get sentimental & nostalgic... I can't believe that this is their 4th album after Max left. who would've thought that there could ever be a Sepultura after Max? if you told me that 10 years ago, I would think you were crazy. I started listening to Sepultura when Beneath The Remains first came out. God, I'm getting old.

	The new album is really pretty good. They should've had someone else produce it though. Don't get me wrong it doesn't suck mix wise but it should have been given a huge crushing sound rather than the punk like bass-less sound it has.

	FUCKING AWESOME VIDEO!!!!!!!!!!!! Reminds me of old sepultura, when they were real dark and sinister. THe end of the video, looks like somethin taken out of mortal kombat lol BUT FUCKING AWESOME!!!!! HAIL SEPULTURA HAIL SOULFLY
