According to Classic Rock magazine, GUNS N' ROSES will play the following U.K. dates in July:
Jul. 18 - Sheffield, Hallam FM Arena Jul. 19 - Newcastle, Metro Radio Arena Jul. 21 - Glasgow, Secc Jul. 23 - Manchester, MEN Arena Jul. 25 - Birmingham, NEC Jul. 27 - Nottingham Arena Jul. 30 - London, Wembley Arena
Tickets will reportedly go on sale June 2.
As previously reported, GUNS N' ROSES looks likely to return for more U.S. shows this autumn, possibly starting in September, according to a press release. Following the band's recent four-night stand in New York City, their first live shows since late 2002, singer Axl Rose said, "We've just finished our four shows in NY and had an amazing time. NY has always been special and it feels great to be doing this again particularly in front of so many friends. I am very excited about Europe and getting back over here in September."
The group, which features no original members from its classic lineup other than Axl, began a run of European festival shows today (Thursday, May 25).
Axl Rose has been saying that the band's long-delayed new album, "Chinese Democracy", will be out later this year.

Damn! I guess all you have to do is write the best album of 1987 and some people will worship you forever, even after you alienate everyone who helped make G 'N R the metal powerhouse they used to be. Can I remind people of the Spaghetti Incident?? Plus, Axl's voice is shot. Any show they play is gonna be Axl squawking with a backup band covering his old band's songs. G 'N' R is dead.

It's more than just the best album of 1987. if it was just that , GnR would have been forgotten already. That is one of the greatest records of all time and the greatest hard rock record of the 80's . How old are you?/

I think your forgetting a few albums there, with mega hits as: "Don't Cry"," Civil War", "You Could Be Mine"," Patience", ... And does ......." November Rain " ring a bell? Not to mention his cover songs of " knockin on Heavens Door" , " Sympathy for the Devil" , " Live and Let Die" ( that are better than the originals)

Can I remind you that there isn't a mega band that hasn't put out at least one album that wasn't a success? and as far as Axl's voice being shot, I would have agreed with you in 2002,,,,,,, but even the last of the 4 shows in NY last week he hit every damn note for a show that lasted over 2 1/2 hours . The band sounded unbelievable, and not a total cover band, Dizzy was there, and Izzy Stradlin showed up for the last 3 songs.......Of coarse I would rather have Slash even though if you closed your eyes you wouldn't be able to tell the difference... You would want to here the creator .....But...... GNR Dead?......... I think not

Dizzy isn't an original member at all. And besides the few gems on Use Your Illusion 1 & 2, overall the records sucked. Appetite and Lies (and Patience is on Lies, by the way) are solid, amazing records.
Live and Let Die sounds horrendous as a Wings song (you do know it's a cover, right?) and, sorry, but Slash and the boys didn't make it sound any better.
And New Kids on the Block had some "Mega hits" too, doesn't make them good. In fact, most mega hits suck. Michael Bolton's mega hits, Celine Dione's, N Sync's, Brittany Spears, etc.... My point is that a mega hit isn't necessarily a good song.
