MARILYN MANSON Regrets Pro-BUSH Comments

The Irish Examiner is reporting that shock rocker Marilyn Manson feels partly responsible for George W. Bush winning the U.S. presidential election in 2000.
In an interview with talk show host Tucker Carlson at the time, the controversial rocker sarcastically condemned Democrat candidate Al Gore and told his fans to vote Bush.
Manson says: "He won by such a small amount, and particularly because it was in Florida.
"Who's to say there weren't a couple of our fans who took my sarcasm seriously and voted for him?"
Marilyn Manson recently reunited with his longtime manager Tony Ciulla's Posthuman Entertainment firm. He continues being repped legally by Danny Hayes at Davis Shapiro Lewit Montone & Hayes.
Manson is currently puting the finishing touches on his sixth LP, tentatively due before the end of the year.

another celebrity taking credit for W's election. George Clooney said no one voted for Kerry because he didn't ride on Kerry's train and people thought that since he didn't, he wasn't for him. Blah, blah, blah.
Maybe no one voted for Kerry because he didn't offer anything. Maybe because he was an arrogant prick. Maybe the Dems set him up as a patsy, so they can get someone better in there later. Maybe the NWO didn't have Kerry on their agenda. Maybe because most liberals shoot themselves in the foot. I don't think Manson or Clooney had anything to do with it. Well, maybe they did. FIRST let me clear the air by saying that Nader, despite his humanitarian views, is a fucking douche bag. He knew he wasn't going to win the election, but ran anyway. All the tree huggers and hippies out there voted for him, even though THEY knew he wasn't going to win. Think of this, if Nader had dropped out of the race, a good amount of his votes would have gone to Gore just to keep Bush out of the Whitehouse, most likely giving him enough of an edge to win the election whether or not Bush rigged the FL votes. His approval rating was steadily declining until he started a bogus war when the country was vulnerable. Since then, he's been ruling by fear and ignoring public sentiment about the incompetence of his entire cabinet. And I thought America was supposed to be a Democracy. Fact is, 9/11 was preventable. It took Bin Laden and his cronies 15 years to bring the attack to fruition, and former CIA agents have come forward and said that on at least 2 occasions, the Secretary of Defence was presented with intelligence documents warning of a massive attack and he ignored them. Then, after it happened, the government let about 13 of Bin Laden's family members leave the country without being questioned and launched an offensive on Iraq, using 9/11 and terrorism as part of his excuse, when Iraq had nothing whatsoever to do with 9/11!!
The US can't be world police. History has proven this. We lost Vietnam and we're gonna lose this because you can't kill terrorism. For every one of them you kill, a dozen more are spawned. Since when do you gain allies by destroying a country and killing thousands of civillians in the process? Rome was a world power, too, and it eventually fell. We're looking at the beginning of the end, folks, and our Commander in Chief is doing a great job fascilitating it.

Ya know, being that I wanted to be Alice Cooper when I grew up, I scoffed at this "Marilyn Manson" thing, myself for years until I saw his interview with Michael Moore. Then I got curious and found that the only thing these two men have in common is that they breathe.
I saw Alice twice and I can still taste the fake "Black Widow" blood on my face...ah, but I digress. He's my hero.
I agree I think it's just arrogance to think one man/artist's opinion would've made such a difference to begin with. Bush was going to win no matter what because he's a doorknob sucking fuckstain with an I.Q. of an onion and all kinds of juice with his Daddy's friends.
