I just want to say that, just because a person is in a band, doesn't mean that his ear is that of someone who could produce another artist.

the reason i say this is, upon listening to "ThickSkin"...i loved certain songs...most notably..."Born A Beggar" and "See You Around" (Rachel excells in writing ballads, '18 and Life' anyone?)

so, i wasn't surprised at that...but the production of these songs left alot to be desired...unless of course, they were going for that "demo" sound.

so, when i heard that Rachel Bolan was producing, my interest was piqued.

i would be surprised if this Rockets To Ruin CD sounds any better than "ThickSkin", tho.

having said all of this, i would still love to have Rachel behind the board for the recording of any of my songs...

METAL LICKA!!
