TWISTED SISTER To Release Heavy Metal Christmas Album

TWISTED SISTER manager Daniel Stanton of Coallier Entertainment has sent the following statement to BLABBERMOUTH.NET:
"TWISTED SISTER has signed with American record label Razor & Tie for the purpose of releasing a final CD. The CD will be a Christmas album of standards done in an all-heavy metal format. Due to release date commitments, the band had to cancel several shows this summer, including two in England on June 27th [London Hammersmith Apollo] and 28th [Nottingham Rock City] and turn down four high-profile festivals in Europe. The planned release date will be in mid-October. The title, track listing and support dates will be announced by the end of the summer."
TWISTED SISTER's re-recording of their classic 1984 album "Stay Hungry", dubbed "Still Hungry", was issued in 2004 on Spitfire Records.

from the 80's that I just can not defend. I'm in my thirtys and love 80's rock/Metal, but this band has absolutly no talent. I have really tried to see it but can not.

...Stay Hungry was the first hard rock/metal album I've bought, and today I think still it rocks!
Still Hungry on the other hand was a big disappointment, and I don't know what to think about a christmas album. Isn't that something pop stars release?

I saw the We're Not Gonna Take It video when I was 5 and thus got into metal... but Dee is an arrogant prick (two clicks away from being the fuckin' Nuge) and this sounds like a really weak idea that will tarnish whatever history this band has. C'mon, a fucking Christmas album?!?
The only metal guy to even pull off a Christmas song was King Diamond.
