All the inevitable "Godsmack sucks" and it figures Sully would do Judas Priest because he's gay just like Halford. Blabbermouth is so predictable ;)

DAMN! Godsmack fucking lit it up!!
They definitely stole the show as far as the cover performances go. Didn't think Tony Rombola could play that good but that dude was on fire!

Godsmack did a great job covering Priest. Zombie and Co tore God Of Thunder up. Foo Fighters did a nice job with Tie your mother down. Rejects Photograph was good too.

It really sucked when Ace Frehly fucked up his own guitar solo on "God of Thunder". He hit a sour note, and it was really obvious.

They totally tore it up. Godsmack's medley was killer as well.
Paul Stanley was all over the map. His voice was not so goodly.

What in the fuck is wrong with you guys? That Judas Priest medly via Godsmack was freaking horrible! They litterally screwed up the songs in every imaginable fashon! The guitarist messed up the guitar part on Electric Eye, they edited out all the good parts of the songs (including the solos!), and Sully can't hit anything higher than a G! Also, he exhibited little onstage charisma. Just about the whole event reaked of suck. The performances by Priest and KISS were definetely badass, but the host, cover-songs, crowd, and idiotic "fan" tributes killed the thing.

wasent as bad as i expected, tho the guitar sometimes was wrong. and the distortion was awefull(speciely electric eye) u really need a marshall to play judas priest luckily i have one.
priest was good as always but rob sure is getting old, breaking the law was ok but the pre-chorus of you've got..... was terrible.

like anyone needs to hear you've got another thing comin or breaking the law just one more time . at least Godsmack had the balls to play something a little more original. and baby they were on. priest are great but need to drop the softer side of their catalog it's about as metal as def leppard. fucking turbo lover, don't go, living after midnight----horrible. they never dig into the catalog. how 'bout playing Sinner, exciter, rapid fire. now that would have blown doors on the other performances!

People complain he didn't sing it right ror the guitar parts were off? They are doing a tribute ... not trying to clone Priest!
VH1, Good job all around! The only complaint was the idiot that won the air guitar contest, that guy sucked bad!
