KORN Joined By SLIPKNOT, AVENGED SEVENFOLD, DEVILDRIVER Singers For DOWNLOAD Appearance

KORN performed a shortened 30-minute set on the main stage of Day 2 of the U.K.'s Download Festival today (June 10) with a variety of guests helping out on vocals, including singers from SLIPKNOT, AVENGED SEVENFOLD, DEVILDRIVER and TRIVIUM. The group's setlist was as follows: 01. It's On! (with Jesse Hasek from 10 YEARS) 02. Falling Away from Me (with M Shadows from AVENGED SEVENFOLD) 03. Somebody Someone (with Dez Fafara from DEVILDRIVER) 04. Coming Undone (with Dez Fafara from DEVILDRIVER) 05. A.D.I.D.A.S. (with Benji Webbe from SKINDRED) 06. Clown (with Corey Taylor from SLIPKNOT/ STONE SOUR) 07. Freak on a Leash (with Corey Taylor from SLIPKNOT/ STONE SOUR) 08. Blind (with Matt Heafy from TRIVIUM) KORN frontman Jonathan Davis was admitted to an unspecified U.K. hospital earlier today, although there are currently no details on his condition. As previously reported, KORN have cancelled their June 11 appearance in Dublin, Ireland for the Download Festival 2006, promoters Aiken Promotions have announced. I wish Metal was a little more mainstream so bands wouldnt suffer soo much to just sell a couple of hundred albums, why do you not want your band to be successful, Music is meant to be shared, just because your band starts getting popular doesnt mean it will go and sell out.. I was simply reminding you of that. my post wasn't meant to attack you in any way, just to inform you that arguing with people on this site is pretty one-sided. That's why I used myself as an example - I love Meshuggah. Pretty much everyone on this site hates them. But I don't get all bent out of shape over it, because ranting about will get me nowhere.

Ive toured with national bands and ive toured with local bands. Ive seen 48 states in the U.S. and 6 other countries. I say to you go fuck yourself. You assume that because Im openly backing Korn and their career, that Im 16 and listen to "nu-metal". How wrong you are. Ive seen good bands breakup and Ive seen shitty bands get signed. It takes talent to get anywhere in this industry. I, for one, dont need to hear a little fuckin brat like yourself who probably lives in Boca Raton talk about what he thinks is "real metal". While you had your mom's tit in your mouth and your dads dick in your ass I was playing the Tampa circuit in support of bands like Eulogy. That was when the term "Death Metal" actually stood for something. Now its simply a term that is thrown around and means nothing more than shit. Dont try to get technical with me on time signatures, song structure, song keys, song creation skills and musical equipment little man because you wont even almost win. Part of the reason I got out of the industry and turned my nose at 3 contracts is because i got sick of playing to a bunch of narrow-minded fuckin retards who thought they knew what metal is. People i really hated. You know, people like yourself....shit the fans are more fuckin ignorant than the bands are now. It still makes me want to vomit. I love the fact that I was giving 200 percent on stage and I had a bunch of cross-dressing cock worshipers who worked at McDonalds question my art. Nothing has changed in this regard. Yes the older musicians tend to think that metal isnt a very good scene right now and I do agree. But it doesnt just have to do with the bands......the fans are getting dumber every day. Dont try to tell me what metal is darlin. Im sure you know nothing of it and have never lived the lifestyle. Ive slept on floors, and in tubs of peoples houses i didnt know. Ive drivin in a van for 12 days straight eating fast food and not showering for 9 days while being strung out on cocaine. Ive had gear and more money than i probably remember stolen. Ive lived the lifestyle and i guarantee people like you would shit yourself then faint if you stepped on stage in front of 30 people not to mention 40,000 at a European festival. Until you've done anything close to being this difficult you really need to shut the fuck up. Im gonna say you have no musical portfolio and you couldnt recognize real metal if it fell out the sky landed on your face and blew a load in your nose. Owned....... Im so sorry but I really dont see it that way dipshit. And no matter what your reply is...... i know for a fact you have no fuckin clue what metal or rebellion is. 8 years of my life were devoted to metal and you have never come anywhere close to this. I will put money on it. Go back to your job at Wal-Mart and leave metal criticism to someone who has been involved directly. Im waiting for a reply little girl.
