KORN: Performance Clips With DEVILDRIVER, TRIVIUM Singers Posted Online

A couple of audience-shot, amateur video clips of KORN's abbreviated 30-minute set on the main stage of Day 2 of the U.K.'s Download Festival Saturday (June 10) have been posted online at the YouTube.com. As previously reported, KORN frontman Jonathan Davis was unable to play the show after being taken ill, and KORN ended up using a variety of guests during the concert, including singers from SLIPKNOT, AVENGED SEVENFOLD, DEVILDRIVER and TRIVIUM. The group's setlist was as follows: 01. It's On! (with Jesse Hasek from 10 YEARS) 02. Falling Away from Me (with M Shadows from AVENGED SEVENFOLD) 03. Somebody Someone (with Dez Fafara from DEVILDRIVER) ( video) 04. Coming Undone (with Dez Fafara from DEVILDRIVER) ( video) 05. A.D.I.D.A.S. (with Benji Webbe from SKINDRED) 06. Clown (with Corey Taylor from SLIPKNOT/ STONE SOUR) 07. Freak on a Leash (with Corey Taylor from SLIPKNOT/ STONE SOUR) 08. Blind (with Matt Heafy from TRIVIUM) ( video) As previously reported, KORN have officially cancelled their European tour after frontman Jonathan Davis was admitted to a London hospital Friday with a blood disorder called immune thrombocytopenic purpura, which is described as a clotting disorder. According to Billboard.com, Davis has been ordered by doctors not to perform for several weeks, necessitating scrapping dates through July 2 in Leipzig, Germany. The band is hoping to reschedule the shows later this year. Davis' illness is not expected to affect the band's Family Values tour, which is due to begin July 27 in Virginia Beach, Virginia. DEFTONES, STONE SOUR, FLYLEAF and DIR EN GRAY will also be on that bill. (Thanks: CARL!N aka vampyr)

I was there and Corey did an awesome job, he was the best out of the singers there. They brought the lyrics to Blind up on the screens when Matt Heafy came out...which was confusing. Did he not know the lyrics or was it just time for some crowd karioke to mask his evergrowing dodgy voice? I like Trivium but I'm not liking him switching to just plain singing live, its just not what those songs were meant for!

I know what you mean but i'm guessing they're thinking anything is better than nothing. There no other sites that have better quality video clips then?
I dont think you're gonna get much better than Video Phone stuff, sometimes thats the only ever camera that goes in and catches all the unexpected stuff that you wanna know about. Know what I mean?

Talking of good quality videos, does anyone know what actually happens to the hours and hours of good quality video that they show on screens goes? I know they show a crap hour long highlights of the festival programme but that only ever has the crappy bands. I'd happily pay for a decent DVD of a festival I'd been to.

i was at download this year and KoRn played a great set especially with Corey Taylor, his 2 songs were the best, i like KoRn anyway but with Corey it was even better. only matt heafy let them down with his crappy singing. how dare you lot have a go at them if you werent even there! Jonathan Davis cant help nature, he was lucky that he went to hospital becuase if he had played he might of dropped dead on stage. you try and record a video whilst up front in that mayhem at download festival, if you want a perfect shot then go there yourself and watch it live, that the best you will ever get and that will show that you are a true fan of KoRn, and if youre not a KoRn fan then why the fuck are you watching the videos?

In addition to being a complete dick, you just butchered those tunes. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems he's not even singing for half the song...just someone in the crowd that the camera picked up.
Dez looks like Bush on 9/11 during those infamous 7 minutes of sitting in the classroom like Forrest Gump. He fucked up the cue for the first verse and it just got worse from there.
Shame, looked good on paper, I wish I hadn't watched that.

you cant blame the guy for messing up a couple times. Its not like he sings those songs every day like Jon does. I think he did a good job for what I could hear. I would have loved to be there to see Dez song with Korn. As for Matt Heafy...it was orrible. He is the majority of the reason I dont like Trivium and hes not any better with Korn
