IRON MAIDEN Announce Japanese Tour Dates

IRON MAIDEN have announced the following Japanese tour dates:
Oct. 25 - Tokyo, JPN @ Budokan
Oct. 27 - Hamamatsu, JPN @ Act City
Oct. 28 - Tokyo, JPN @ Kokusai Forum
Oct. 30 - Osaka, JPN @ Jo Hall
Oct. 31 - Nagoya, JPN @ Shimin Hall
These will be the part of first leg the band will play following their eagerly anticipated new studio album which is scheduled for release in early September.
Says Steve Harris, "We've always enjoyed immensely strong and loyal support from our fans in Japan and when we were discussing the tour plans we thought that this time around we'd give them the opportunity to be one of the first countries on the tour rather than the last! We've already had an awesome reaction to the shows announced for the European leg of the tour. Many of the venues selling out in hours with others virtually sold out before we've had a chance to promote them properly. It's been incredible."
Says Bruce Dickinson, "It's great to be back with our big show in Japan, especially the Budokan which has been a legendary venue for us and other great bands since I can remember. We've always loved playing in Japan over every tour and we all have many friends there."

Now announce a full US tour. I am sick of seeing this band play in amphitheaters everytime they come around. It's damn hard to get good tickets for a band like this in that sort of venue. Play arenas!

It's great to be back with our big show in Japan, especially the Budokan which has been a legendary venue for us and other great bands since I can remember.
I believe that Bruce is showing his respect to Ozzy. hahaha....I just thought that I'd stir the pot for all you other Maiden fans.
Serioulsy, I think both bands kick ass. Ozz-man is out of his prime though.

You have always enjoyed immenseley stong and LOYAL support from your fans in AUSTRALIA as well.....and we keep getting SHAFTED on your tours!!! Maiden has a massive fan base here and we are in the same Time zone as Japan so it would have been nice to see the band again???

They should record "Maiden Japan 2 (Return of the Samurai)" with the current lineup playing only recent material. That'd rule.

but sometimes they piss me off with their whole "america doesn't interact, theyre lazy blah blah" just fucking come to Tampa for once and i will fucking show you what your american fans are like...so instead of playing 5 fucking shows in NY and then 5 shows in LA why dont you go to one of the other metal capitals of the US...again im referring to Tampa

I have been waiting for Maiden to tour Australia for nearly 20 years - 20 FUCKING YEARS!!!!! I'm not buying another of their albums until they tour again - fuck 'em! I don't give a shit if they can't bring a light show or fireworks or a 20 foot tall eddie. Just grab your guitar and amps and shit and PLAY SOME MUSIC you DECREPID OLD FARTS!!!!
