Former
WARRANT frontman
Jani Lane has taken a little side step and has recorded some new rock tunes under the moniker
ANGEL CITY OUTLAWS.
RATT drummer
Bobby Blotzer and a few other '80s-era rockers are part of the band. Samples of three songs —
"Serial Killer",
"Bruised", and
"Exit" — can be heard on
www.myspace.com/janilane.
As previously reported,
Lane's
"Back Down to One" solo album, which was originally released in June 2003 via
Z Records, was recently reissued with three extra tracks.
Jani is also looking for a suitable label to release his
"Jabberwocky" project, which was bootlegged from the studio before it was finished and mixed and was eventually sold for upwards of $100 on
eBay a few years ago.
Lane is working on material for a new solo record. No further information is currently available.
