GUNS N' ROSES: Zurich Show Postponed

GUNS N' ROSES have been forced to postpone tonight's (June 21) show in Zurich, Switzerland at the Hallenstadion. The band's drummer Brain (a.k.a. Brian Mantia) has had to return to San Francisco earlier than scheduled to be with his pregnant wife. The band have been travelling with understudy drummer Frank Ferrer and he will be ready to step in when the tour continues as scheduled on Saturday (June 24) with their next show at Belgium's Graspop Metal Meeting. It is expected that Brain will return to the tour in approximately two weeks' time.
The band had a phenomenal show at Bercy in Paris last night which they consider to be the best of the tour to date. During the exuberant performance, guitarist Robin Finck pulled his hamstring but will benefit from the extra day of rest and will be ready for Saturday. The Hallenstadion show in Zurich will now take place on July 1 and all tickets are valid.
GUNS N' ROSES apologize to their Swiss fans for any inconvenience and look forward to seeing them in a couple of weeks.

The guy had to go home to be with his pregnant wife, they moved the show down a few weeks. Big fuckin deal.
Anyone who thinks that this band is going to fall apart is wrong. They got a damn good band who feel that they have something to prove.
I'd love to see that Paris show.

We should congratulate Brain! This is no big deal. Things like this happen all the time in the business and they'll do the Zurich show again on 1st of July.
I saw GNR in Warsaw last week and it was fuckin amazing. They still blow away most of the other shity bandsw out there.

Im suprised Barin Didnt walk out on Axl at the same time Buckethead did. They were by far the two best Musicians in the "New GnR".

There is no need to cancel a show becaues Brain had to go to S.F. to be with his expecting wife. Think about it (I know it's a stretch for some of you).
-Expecting wife. Everyone knows Brain will eventually need to be with her. So you PLAN for this kind of thing.
-You have a understudy drummer just in case situations like this arise so you DON'T have to cancel SCHEDULED shows.
Zurich, YOU GOT SCREWED BECAUSE OF LACK OF PLANNING DUE TO THE AXL ROSE TRAVELING SIDESHOW!!!!

Do these buttholes actually play any shows? All I read about is cancelled, postponed, and ridiculously late shows by the Guns 'N Roses Experience Featuring Axl Rose.
This sad joke should have ended about 10 years ago... it's like the Temptations or the Coasters at this point, there's one original guy and a differnet lineup every week.

They have played like 20 shows and haven't cancelled once. This is not a cancellation it is a postponement. They will continue the tour with a different drummer until Brain comes back to rejoin them in a couple weeks .

Do you even read anything? He wasnt suppose to go home for another few weeks. His wife went into labour early. Thats why the show had to be POSTPONED untill July 1st. It is the fist time a show had to be postponed on the tour. There have beeen 0 cancelled dates. Jesus you people must have the reading comprehension of a 2 year old.

So Brain has an understudy. So what? Have you ever **seen** Brain play live? He's a borderline prog drummer who has played with the likes of Bill Laswell and Bootsy Collins. I was in Sport Palais of Bercy last night the show was enormous ! Axl created a special atmosphere a true relation and communion with the audience !
I never saw such a thing in that temple of sport and music, facing 16000 fans ! Izzy came for the end of the show.
Axl's voice has been heared all over Paris I think ... incredible ... and the piano balads of Dizzi and Axl were wonderful ... that is talent !
The 2 firts gigs in opening ... to be forget !
Je vous le dis les mecs ce spectacle était d'une très grande qualité, je ne suis pas étonné qu'Axl ait pensé la même chose.
The few songs extracted from the next album make me presume it's gonna be a gret succes !!!
