New OZZY OSBOURNE T-Shirts To Benefit Charity - June 21, 2006

According to a posting at Ozzyhead.com, Ozzy Osbourne and Hard Rock Cafe are joining the fight against cancer to bring you the next installment in Hard Rock's Signature Series Tees. Edition XXII was designed by the Godfather of Heavy Metal himself and features a hand-painted stick figure, created to symbolize Ozzy's larger-than-life stage persona. It's the first new design featuring the figure in nearly a decade!

Partial proceeds from the sale of the shirts benefit The Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Program at Cedar-Sinai. The program works to improve the lives of patients and their loved ones by providing at-home help, childcare, transportation, access to support groups and patient care services offered within Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

	...that Maddox rant "Christopher Reeve was an asshole"? Basically, the jist of it was that before his accident (the fact that he played a spinal cord injury victim in 1995 notwithstanding), he didn't give a shit about paralysis, and was perfectly happy to swan around, living like a millionaire, without a care for the paralyzed. Then, of course, HE gets paralyzed and starts a foundation. Forgive me for stating the obvious, but I doubt there would be a "Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Fund" if she herself hadn't been inflicted with it. Sure, a few other colon cancer sufferers may benefit, but that's completely incidental. I'll wager dollars to donuts any other, much more needy candidates get the bum's rush if Sharon gets a relapse. Just out of curiousity, I overslept... what was the cut-and-thrust of the 20+ posts that got deleted? Mmm... Beer... c(_)

	sharon's skunky monkey actually cancer research is a good cause... hardly a charity though hopefully the money really gets to the right place.. for example... CEO of American Heart Association makes over $400,000/year a lot of these "non-profit" agencies are rich men ripping off the american taxpayer. I'd like to believe all of them are legit but I know many of them are corrupted I think this is actually a cool thing for ozzy and sharon to do hey gene! check that out...

	I saw an awesome shirt by a street vendor in Philly. It said "Dallas sucks, T.O. Swallows." I am not sure exactly what he swallows because the shirt never said, but I enjoyed the guys entrepenural skills. I would give money to a hard working street vendor because I bought this crap. I would rather donate the entire price of this merchandise to the American Cancer Society.
