PEEPING TOM Added To FAMILY VALUES Tour - June 26, 2006
According to a posting on the KORN fan site KornUnleashed.net, PEEPING TOM — the new project of Mike Patton (FAITH NO MORE, MR. BUNGLE, TOMAHAWK, FANTOMAS) — has been added to The Family Values Tour 2006. The band will reportedly join the tour's second-stage lineup along with already confirmed acts 10 YEARS, BURY YOUR DEAD, BULLETS AND OCTANE and DEADSY.

The Family Values Tour 2006 billing is now shaping up as follows:

Main Stage:

KORN
DEFTONES
STONE SOUR
FLYLEAF
DIR EN GREY

Second Stage:

10 YEARS
BURY YOUR DEAD
BULLETS AND OCTANE
DEADSY
PEEPING TOM

With the addition of a second stage and many top rock acts, fans will get even greater value from the Live Nation-produced Family Values Tour, as the festival features $9.99 lawn tickets and value-priced seating available at every outdoor amphitheatre along the tour route, making it one of the hottest tickets of the summer.

Peeping Tom will not be on this tour on the account they'll be on another tour.

And Deadsy being on the tour was just a rumor started by a fan.

Huge fan of all projects he's done but only cry you'll hear from me is to cfh8784 saying 'grow the fuck up!'...so you dont like a few of the other bands, big deal.... you could say Mike Patton sold out more when Faith no More supported Guns n Roses in their height back in the early 90's, rather hear Korn than some crooner going on about rain in November ffs.... Bring the tour to England and Ill be there, Deftones rock too!

In Devore, CA, I might consider going for $10. But since the average tempature is 110 degrees in the shade, fuck that.

Peeping Tom is his 'mainstream' project, so it's only natural that they do tours with other mainstream groups in order to find their audience.

Should be VERY interesting! I like Korn, PT, and Deftones, but Peeping Tom doesn't fit in at all. Still, I'd love to see 'em get the exposure.

Imani Coppola from Peeping Tom. She has no idea if they're gonna be on this tour or not but admits they keep her in the dark on that stuff. She says they "probably don't want to scare her" with the length of the Peeping Tom tour, where they are going, etc.

Peeping Tom rules, but none of the other acts do.

As for cfh8784...you're an idiot. The fact that he tours does not make him a sell-out. Millions of bands tour. That's obviously how bands make fans, which is necessary to sell records/worthless merchandise. It's dumbing down the music that makes a sell-out, and catering to pre-teen girls. That's something we'll never have to worry about from Mike Patton, as long as Fantomas is around.

Also, the fact that Peeping Tom doesn't fit with all these "harder" "rock" bands will make them stand out even more. Peeping Tom rules.

COMMENT | When did I call Patton a sell out?

You cranked up idiots are all the same. I never once called Patton a "sell out."

I was teasing the idiots that get on this site and bash on every band that gets mention. Mike Patton, who has gone on record as saying he hates Korn and hates being penned as "The Godfather of Rap-Metal," is touring on Family Values. I expected people to jump all over Patton for doing this tour.

Think before you call me "an idiot" or tell me to "grow the fuck up." You read into text on the internet. And I'm the idiot? I am a fan of Patton's, and I have no problems aruging with the average cretins that would bash his music without listening to it. However, I won't pretend that Patton hasn't said he hates being tied to Nu Metal/Rap Metal, especially when he does a tour that is loaded with the genre.

he is playing with them for the exposure...playing on that tour (like it or not) would really get Peeping Tom out there.

And calling Mike Patton a 'sell out' is pointless considering he is already a multi millionaire, have some of you morons forgotten or even heard of Faith No More?

As far as Im concerned he can do whatever the fuck he likes.

Give me a break.

...has called Jon Davies and co. shit before.he has.he also laughed a hearty laugh when he retold his story on Sepultra calling Jone Davies' vocals "gay" and how Patton had to re-do the singing.

so,some trivia for all you gays out there-on Sepultra's "roots" album,"lookaway" is just Patton doing guest vocals-Jon Davies' wen't good enough but because he spent the time doin 'em he was credited anyway.

I am so glad I get to see Peeping Tom play with Gnarls Barkley out here in Cali. If fans get to see them on the second stage for $10 bucks, then this makes sense. It's not a sellout move if you are providing a way for your fans to see you at that price. Mike has earned the respect to do whatever the hell he wants.

They should still get staidn to do this tour, hopfuly they'll reemember the feeling and make some real staind amterial again..
