TOOL To Support METALLICA In Korea

TOOL have been confirmed as direct support for METALLICA on August 15 at the Jamsil Olympic Main Stadium in Seoul, Korea. This concert will mark TOOL's first-ever Korean appearance and METALLICA's first show in the country since April 1998. More support bands will be announced soon. Tickets are available at this location. TOOL's fourth full-length album, "10,000 Days", debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 and has sold one million copies in the seven weeks since its release. METALLICA drummer Lars Ulrich told England's BBC Radio 1 that the group's new album is likely to be released in the summer or early autumn of 2007. Ulrich explained, "I think we've realized that the creative process works a little slower for us than it used to, and we're OK with that. It's not a bad thing, unless, of course, you're waiting for a record." Ulrich added that the band now is far more relaxed than the turbulent state in which it recorded 2003's "St. Anger". The drummer said, "Everybody's getting along, having a great time...Back on ( 'St. Anger'), it was just a very different experience 'cause we had to kind of get it back together. i think he's referring to the obscurity of the music itself, rather then the popularity of the band per se. he means that the music isn't condusive to selling 1 million albums really, but they managed to do it. listening to tool, you WOULD expect them to be "underground" as it were.

I think he meant that Tool´s sound resembles more underground bands, that doesnt mean Tool is underground. I was also surprised, 1 Mill sold albums is good.

on this day north korea decide to fire the missle and it hits south korea right on the stage while metallica start playing and tool are packing up. the metal community would be a lot better off without both of these jerkoffs. to bad cliff was the only member killed in the bus 20 years ago, they they had all been killed i could call them legands today but they lived to fuck it up!!!!!!!!! never the same after master of puppets...........
