GUNS N' ROSES Guitarist: 'I Don't Get Drunk, I Don't Do Drugs, I Don't F*ck Around On My Girl'

New GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal has refuted a report published in the Swedish newspaper Expressen quoting him as saying that the band "will party all night long" following their Stockholm concert on Monday (June 26).
As previously reported, GUNS N' ROSES fontman Axl Rose was arrested early Tuesday after allegedly biting a security guard in the leg at his Stockholm hotel. "He was drunk, and in the police station they took him to a cell to sleep for a few hours," Towe Hagg, a spokesperson for the Stockholm Police Department, told MTV News.
In a posting on his official forum, Thal said, "I can only speak for myself — this is not an official band statement, just my own personal comment...
"Partying 'all night long?' The only thing I said, if anything to anyone, was 'I'll be sleeping on the tour bus to Oslo [where the band were scheduled to perform Wednesday — Ed.] all night long' — lol — which is exactly what I (and others) did.
"As for *the band* 'asking to be met by Swedish blondes...' [as reported in the Swedish media the day of the Stockholm show — Ed.] — I knew nothing about that. We stopped by a club for a few hours and got to hang with people that went to the show, then hit the bus and woke up in Oslo. That's all. Anyone that knows me, that has hung out or worked with me, knows I don't get drunk, I don't do drugs, and I don't fuck around on my girl — just not my way. And I don't request other women. Ask around.

Man, guns never been a good band. slash, duff and matt were good players but that doesn't mean they were also a good band. and Axl.. since the first time i saw him and i've heard him i thought he was a women at period =)). sick fuckind decayed bastard.
I don't like Jim Morrison either, he was so fuckin ruined and stoned too, but at least that Jim didn't sung like a ill woman.

As about the new guitar player in the band.. it's nothing unusual what he said, i mean, if you guys do not agree with what he's doing tyhat doesn't mean it's WRONG. For example if you don't get drugs that doesn't mean you're a sick motherfucker, it only means you have a brain and you're rational. Or if you don't want to have Poison band's life (to fuck a lot of girls after the concert) it's also ok. It's a matter of your own decision.

Who care about the band members' image and personal choices more than the bands music itself. A BAND is a group that makes music. People who actually like music are in a band for one reason, to make music. Doing other useless shit like drinking and doing drugs doesnt make a band a "band" it makes them useless and unworthy of even being in that band. If Ron Thal can make GREAT PERSONAL CHOICES in life and put his ALL into the MUSIC, then he is definately NOT a pussy! Right now he is my favorite member of GnR just because he actually is just in the band for the music itself which a bandmember should be, unlike all the other wastoids in this band. Thal actually has morals and CARES about himself and about the Music..... thats why he can play like a motherfucker!
