VISION OF DISORDER To Film Long Island Shows For Upcoming DVD
- June 29, 2006
Long Island, New York, hardcore legends VISION OF DISORDER, who have temporarily reunited for a spate of summer gigs, will film their two shows at Club Ritual in Levittown, New York for an upcoming live DVD. The band will also appear on the Sounds of the Underground Tour July 16 in Camden, New Jersey, and the Strhess Tour 2006 on August 12 in Worcester, Massachusetts.
The following VISION OF DISORDER concerts will be recorded for the upcoming DVD:
Aug. 11 - Levittown, NY - Club Ritual (w/ GOSPEL, AGENTS OF MAN, GOD FORBID) Aug. 13 - Levittown, NY - Club Ritual (w/ GOSPEL, CANDIRIA)
VISION OF DISORDER's last studio effort was the southern rock-influenced album, "From Bliss to Devastation", released on TVT Records in 2001, according to Wikipedia. Apparently frustrated by a lack of record company support from both Roadrunner (the band's former label) and TVT Records, VISION OF DISORDER went on an extended hiatus in 2002, and eventually disbanded, as singer Tim Williams and guitarist Mike Kennedy formed the currently active project BLOODSIMPLE.

"Imprint" was one of the best hardcore release of 1998.
The song with Anselmo was amazing and the level of agressivity of this record remains thrilling almost ten years after.
Pissed, inspired and fucking heavy !

More like 'trying to make big money' influenced. That album was a turd.
I loved the first two and '..bleeders..' but I couldn't believe my ears when the final album came out. No band has ever gone from being so good to sucking so hard in a 2 year period.
That said, I hope they're planning big tours and skipping TVT tracks for their setlist.
