New TOOL Interview To Air On Norway's 'Tinitus' - July 4, 2006

A brand new TOOL interview conducted at the Quart festival in Kristiansand, Norway will be broadcast on this week's "Tinitus" radio show, airing Wednesday, July 5 between 20.00 CET (8:00 p.m.) and 22.00 CET (10:00 p.m.) on P3. The program can also be heard on the Internet: www.nrk.no/tinitus.

TOOL's fourth full-length album, "10,000 Days", debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 and has sold one million copies in the eight weeks since its release.

TOOL are currently touring Europe and will play several dates in Asia in mid-August. The band is confirmed to headline the 22nd annual San Diego Street Scene festival, scheduled for August 4-5 in downtown San Diego.

	Tool is actually one of the only bands on earth that never compromised a bit and always wrote "the most boring, moronic, and derivative so called "music" known to man" and shot the most strange and beautiful videos seen on TV and even had the pretention of showing some sense of intelligence that is selling a decent amount of records nowadays. 	more over rated than Tool Maiden Priest Slayer All of them have progressed very little which is very boring. The only reason they are mentioned is because back 20 and 30 years ago they did something revolutionary, and now they are trying (and failing) to recreate that again, like thrash will ever come back around again. Tool, on the other hand, push musical boundaries with every album, they do what those old fucks from the late 70s and earliy 80s WISH they could do. They are on the cutting edge and staying true to themselves. Those other guys are selling out to their mullet toting, chain smoking, retarded fans.

	Some of their fans are so prentetious in that they worship the band thinking that people who don't like them are "stupid or don't "get it". Maynard even said thats the worst thing a fan can do, "not think for themselves". There will prolly be some idiots that type Mayanard = God crap....I love tool, but if theres one thing I learned from the band, is to learn to fuckin THINK and not be a mindless corporate zombie.

	Tits, imo. I hated 10,000 days at first. The pot(Intro) made me puke. After awhile, I started liking it. I still can't listen to Wings/10,000 days without skipping, but the first time I heard it I shit myself. Lateralus was their best album, I was disappointed 10,000 days didn't scratch the surface of that masterpiece album.
