AEROSMITH Pushing New Album To Next Year For The Sake Of The Music - July 10, 2006
Launch Radio Networks reports: AEROSMITH won't finish their new album before they go on tour with MÖTLEY CRÜE this fall, but that's actually a good thing. The band had hoped to get everything finished, but lead guitarist Joe Perry told Launch the record has now been pushed into next year because they didn't want to rush things and have the music suffer. "We're definitely not gonna be able to get it out before the tour starts," he said. "We just can't do the songs justice. We are getting a fair amount of work done on it, and it'll probably be about half done by the time we start working on it again in February. So we're hoping to have a late spring-early summer release."

The AEROSMITH/MÖTLEY CRÜE "Route Of All Evil" tour starts September 7 in Hartford, Connecticut, and the bands have announced shows until the end of November.

"AEROSMITH Pushing New Album To Next Year For The Sake Of The Music"

TRANSLATION- All their outside songwriters are busy doing ballads for the other adult contemporary groups they work for.

Also, their marketing research has shown a 25% drop-off in fat suburban housewives buying sappy music.

What the fuck are you people talking about? Get A Grip was a great album!! Made for MTV...yeah....but still had some perfect lyrics for Steven Tyler to be singing. When you fuckers still sell thousands of tickets after 35 years....then post something about Aerosmith. Until then, rip on somebody like All-American Retards.

yeah man! Get a grip was sweet. Sure those 3 ballads suck but Eat The Rich and Livin' On The Edge are great tracks! That was a solid album with three hit songs so they could sell albums and still make good music.

aerosmith are cool as fuck!

their 70's stuff was groundbreaking, their drug taking was legendary are far more profound than some of the poser losers you find in the modern scene

their rebirth through done with mirrors, walk collaboration and permanent vacation is one of the greatest rock and roll survival stories

pump, get a grip and nine lives are fucking awesome albums!

they have alicia silverstone, liv tyler and that really fit bird from the jaded vid in their videos...sex, drugs and rock and roll!

PLUS HONKING ON BOBO WAS ONE OF THE BEST ALBUMS OF 2004, but im guessing most of you will disagree with me cause none of you have the patience or the soul to appreciate good groove, good beat and where our favourite music emenated from

SO FUCK YOU ALL!

Aerosmith are the greatest American rock and roll band, bar none! The ONLY band who can even come close to touching them is ZZ Top. There hasn't been one Aerosmith album that hasn't produced atleast one kick ass song, be it ballad or not. All the people who hate on them are just ignorant. You want to listen to an album like Rocks or Toys? Great! Go out and buy them and put them on. I highly suggest that you do, because they are excellent albums. Just don't use them as a crutch when you are referring to Aerosmith. A classic album that everybody has heard of is the easiest copout for a poser "fan". That makes you just like the fucktards who say that you can't listen to Metallica that has come out past ....And Justice For All. I know that Joey Kramer doesn't use blast beats or anything. Oh, and for all you Nu Metal heads, keep in mind that Joe Perry tuned down to A before Korn could hold a 7-string guitar, and he used his guitar to play the blues! Suck on that!
