AC/DC, GUNS N' ROSES Classics Among 'Greatest Albums Of The '80s' - July 13, 2006
AC/DC's "Black in Black" and GUNS N' ROSES' "Appetite for Destruction" are among the greatest albums of the '80s, a U.K. poll has found.

The AC/DC and GUNS N' ROSES classics were the only hard rock albums to make the list, which was compiled by the British music bible Q.

The Top 20 albums of the '80s, according to readers of Q magazine:

It's a list made by British shoegazers, who don't actually listen to music. Q-readers only read about the music Q writes about, and therefore they are extremely knowledgable about music in general.

It's not a 'best of the 80s metal list' btw. Thank God. If Q decides to make that list, it will be probably be crap. Even Kerrang can't make that list, unless they copy it from buttlips' post.

Actually, I would go with Overkill's-"Under the Influence" as my number 1 choice. I love everyone's metal picks but that would be my numero uno.

"Mad Gone World" and "Shred" are 2 songs that still make me feel like I could break rocks with my head.
