IRON MAIDEN: 'The Reincarnation Of Benjamin Breeg' Video To Debut Sunday Night

IRON MAIDEN's video for their new single, "The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg", will reportedly receive its worldwide premiere Sunday night (July 16) on the web site of the Iron Maiden Online Club (the band's official fan club; you must be a registered member to log in). "We'll be posting it at around midnight on Sunday night (U.K. time) so make sure you're logged in with your Windows Media and Real Players ready to go," reads an announcement that was sent out to the club members earlier today. Kerrang! magazine has previously described "The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg" as "an intricate seven-minute epic that starts with a creepy, ominous intro before erupting into a crushing, almost LED ZEPPELIN-esque riff and a powerful, emotive chorus. More obtuse lyrically than most of the album, it's a curious, challenging choice for a single." "It's very different for us," admitted the band's bassist, Steve Harris. "It's very riffy. The intro has an almost nursery rhyme eeriness. Sometimes you try to create a mood and sometimes it's just there. Everyone's going to ask who Benjamin Breeg is, but you'll just have to find out for yourself!" IRON MAIDEN's new studio album, entitled "A Matter of Life and Death", is scheduled for release on August 26 in Australia, and August 28 in Europe. A U.S. release is expected in early September. "The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg" single will precede the album on August 14. "A Matter of Life and Death" was recorded at Sarm West Studios in London with producer Kevin Shirley, who also worked on the last two MAIDEN albums, 2000's "Brave New World" and 2003's "Dance of Death". who the fuck is fear factory? while I don't like maiden insulting their fans about how they act in concert (or rather how their older fans don't) their music speaks for itself. they have put out so many great records over the years it's hard to name the best one and even more difficult to make your own greatest hits cd for your car as they have so many great songs. I can't even think of 1 by this no talent band and while I may be older I still try and keep up to date with what's new in metal and while I have of heard of the name can't think of a song or know of anybody who has their stuff and I have friends with kids who are old enough to listen to todays music and none them think this group is any good. so before you trash them at least come up with a band with talent dumbass. and anyone who complains about how long a song is just being ridiculous, when I pay 15 bucks for a cd I want it to be as long as possible not 30 min. and done. call me old school as I still buy music but I like having the actual cd and not a burned copy for my home use. the only complaint I have so for is the b-side choices, come on guys give us some unreleased songs like the somewhere in time singles not the rehashed old singles relesed as live or remixed,sorry still sound the sound to me.

Fear Factory is an average band....."Demanufacture" and "Obsolete" are great albums. Beyond that, they have not accomplished much as a band. As for Maiden... well do I even have to say anything.....bad fucking ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome. I have high hopes that this album will put the band back on track, following what was arguably the worst album of their career (some might debate that No Prayer holds that title). I guess I'll find out with the state side release. The description of this single reminds me of Sign of the Cross, which is an under-rated Maiden classic for sure.

Don't get me wrong, I am one BIG Maiden fan but some of the songs that put out on th newer albums would be better off as rarites in som kind of messed up box set.
I still waiting for Death on the road DVD to hit the states, Hell they totaly skipped the U.S. on that tour except for LA and New York. I bet they have houses there or something.
I think Niko lives in Florida or something.
I'm kinna scared to hear it to be honest.
