KORN To Perform On 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' Tomorrow - July 17, 2006
KORN will be the musical guests on the late-night talk show "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Tuesday, July 18.

The band will be playing a special live set at the show's intimate outdoor stage at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California.

For more information, click here.

KORN is planning to shoot a video for its next single, called "Politics", but singer Jonathan Davis told MTV.com that fans shouldn't actually expect to see the group get political in the clip. Davis explained, "(The song is) just about how I don't like to talk about politics. I mean there's politics in everything, and it's not necessarily governmental politics. There's who's going to sleep with whom to get ahead, who's going to do this to get that...That's what I'm talking about, not about the stupid crap that's going on with guys in suits and their views and their lobbies."

Davis said that while KORN has never been a "political band," he does have his views on certain issues. "I'm political to a point where it affects human life, from global warming to abortion issues to my gun rights, stuff like that," he explained. "Those are the kind of politics that I care about."

However, KORN guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer told Launch that he and Davis are writing the score for an animated short film that does tackle national politics. "It's very political, probably the most politically involved plot that Jonathan and I will ever be involved in to this point," he said. "It's about oil and the president and aliens and futuristic, really cool...like, a chick superhero that's gonna save the world type of thing."

Davis has been home in Los Angeles recovering from a rare and potentially fatal blood disorder that forced KORN to cancel most of a European tour last month.

KORN will begin its headlining stint on the Family Values tour on July 27 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with DEFTONES, 10 YEARS, FLYLEAF and others.

I like corn from a can.

The jolly green giant makes some nice stuff.

The best corn since Head left is definitely in a can. The band should retire and enjoy their riches.

DARKELFQN, Korn is a trendy band??? Do you listen to anything having to do with metal?? Korn is trendy compared to these bands that think they're the second coming to slayer or maiden. No, because bands like raunchy, trivium, 3 inches of blood, killswitch, it dies today etc. arent trendy?? Korn followed right along with the whole "chug-chug-squeal, chug-chug-squeal, dumb breakdown" blueprint that is so popular now?? You could have just made the dumbest fuckin comment ever posted on blabbermouth. I hate to break it to you dick-kisser...... trends dont last 12 years; thats called an amazing career. Go back to rubbin your hampster's penis and leave the music critiques to people over 13. That is almost as fuckin stupid as anything that choad-chompin, sperm-coniseur AL BUNDY would say. Congrats ALF or ELF or whatever the fuck your name is, you are still smarter than an inbred 40 year old who lives with his parent in a trailor park. And yes AL i mean you....I dont want you to hurt yourself trying to figure out who i was talking about! Alf, you're parents must be very proud. Im sure your mother wished she swallowed you on a daily basis.

korn isnt trendy , they just started a trend. When they came out they were one of the most origional bands around. They along with bands like deftones, tool, coal chamber, manson and a few others started a trend that many bands TRIEd to copy. So they arent trendy at all. Their genre of music may have died, but they themselves still sell out arenas and sell a shit load of albums. All the bands that most of u guys like are trend setters as well that maybe 10 years from now people are gonna start talking shit about cuz theyre not "cool" anymore. Its funny ive met alot of bands in my life and in all honestly the guys in korn are the most laid back chilled guys that ive met as far as bands go. People rag on korn becuase they change their sound every album. Ever accure to u that they just wanna do something different? who wants to hear the same album over and over? I think see you on the other side is an amazing album and nothing sounds like it. Its no "self titled", but 7 albums later theyre still one of the most origional bands around.
