New OZZY OSBOURNE Album Could Be Out In February

Ozzy Osbourne has told Reuters that he is working on two new albums and the first one could be ready by February. "I don't want to release an album if it's not a great album," Ozzy said. "I primarily write an album for myself, and if the world likes it, great," he said. "I'm just hoping that I can get a good couple of albums out." Osbourne was cautious about when the album would be ready, but his wife, Sharon, who is also his manager, said "hopefully" it would released in February. The self-proclaimed "Prince of Darkness" said he was working on the two albums with guitarist Zakk Wylde, whose band BLACK LABEL SOCIETY is one of the main acts in Osbourne's annual hard-rock traveling festival, Ozzfest. "I can't say anything about the songs," Osbourne said at an event in New York to launch a Hard Rock Cafe T-shirt to raise money for his wife's cancer charity. Read more at in.today.reuters.com.

The Ozzy/Zakk partnership seems to work well. Ozzy's last bad album in my opinion was the 'Ultimate Sin' (it wasn't a bad album; it was just fair)

Aside from his greatest partnership w/ Randy Rhoads (R.I.P.) Ozzy and Zakk work great together. Can't wait for the new album to come out and the tour which will kick funkin A.

I do agree that you have to respect the man for what he's done for the scene, but you have to look at the big picture..he and his wife have changed so much since the reality tv nonsense...you can't deny, they're celebrities and Ozzy has become too much of novelty...sad, but true..

Jake E. Lee MADE the The Ultimate Sin a great album. All in all, Zakk and Ozzy are great but there is no substitute for a NEW BLACK SABBATH ALBUM, PERIOD.

Agree with xyournewgodx, since Zakk arrived the music has been plain boring. Rhoads was an extremely talented and irreplacible guitarrist for Ozzy but Lee did a pretty good job too.

Everything about Ozzy is for sale. His whole life and family.
Ozzy is not about music.
Ozzy is about marketing, selling, a brand, with no substance. Just the pretense of music thrown in there somewhere just for show. Sickening.
And the Ozzfest is not about promoting heavy music, it's about making money and grabbing hold of a market not many other people have exploited in america. There is nothing genuine about it. There is nothing rock n roll about it. It is just a big huge moneymaking machine. Ripping off metal fans and selling them crap. It's a shame. It's not about music at all really. Not about giving resources to what is to come. It is all about making money for the Osbournes. Fuck it.

Does anyone agree that Ozzy should stop touring (because he really can't do it anymore) and concentrate on getting some more recorded material out there? Soon the guy won't be able to even sing...I think he needs to get as much on vinyl as he can while he's still able. SO much time is wasted touring, and doing whatever the hell else he does...And what is he leaving behind of value from the last 10 years?

I love the ozz. I hope the new stuff is out soon. i would love a new sabbath. But I guesse we can,t have it all. Ozzy needs jake back. Zakk is very repititive. I have a Ozzy Style www.myspace.comn/curseofdisobedience Brad Gillis should have done a studio album. I wish he would have joe Holmes play on the down to earth. He was great on lizzy Borden visual lies album.
