GUNS N' ROSES Frontman Unable To Complete London Show; SEBASTIAN BACH Steps In

Former SKID ROW frontman Sebastian Bach sang lead vocals for the last two songs ("Night Train" and "Paradise City") of GUNS N' ROSES' set at the Wembley Arena in London, England on Sunday (July 30) after singer Axl Rose was taken ill and was unable to finish the show. The band performed an abbreviated set which reportedly featured no new songs, a departure from the rest of the tour where several "Chinese Democracy" numbers were regularly aired at every performance.
In other news, GUNS N' ROSES played a special acoustic gig late Saturday/early Sunday at a small London club called Koko, featuring a crowd made up in part of audience members from GUNS N' ROSES first Wembley Arena performance on Saturday (July 29) who had their names read out by Axl during the show. The acoustic gig reportedly started at 4:00 a.m. and finished at about 5:30 a.m.
The July 30 Wembley concert was the final show of GUNS N' ROSES' lengthy European tour, which kicked off May 25 in Madrid, Spain.
GUNS N' ROSES will headline KROQ's Inland Invasion 2006 on September 23 at the Hyundai Pavillion at Glen Helen in Devore, California. Additional U.S. dates are expected in the fall.
Rose has been saying that the band's long-delayed new album, "Chinese Democracy", will be out later this year.

So Axl did a late night/early morning acoustic set AFTER an arena show to a group of "lucky" (axl musta sounded like ass after rocking a Wembley show that night right?) and he can't finish the set 14 hours later?
And he didn't cancel, y'know. He just got all wrapped up in his own head and convinced himself he had to stop early. Dude's so paranoid that he probably thought he had been overworking his voice and that he was on the verge of serious damage. And that's not totally unreasonable. But, Axl, you're fucking OLD. Stop partying with "leggy" chicks and giving horrid acoustic late night shows and TAKE CARE OF THE FANS YOU STILL HAVE despite your best efforts and misguided intentions.

i didn't go last night, but i've seen them 3 times on their european tour and every time axl has been fucking amazing. they've played shows of 2-3 hours and he's sang like a fucking trooper. if you don't like his voice, the songs, the fact he's a twat etc no problem, but anyone who says he can't sing or perform is talking so much shit they don't know a thing about music. yes he's a fucked-up asshole, but then so are lots of enigmatic frontmen, and the reason over 10,000 people go to every show they do is because he is a fucking brilliant singer playing fucking brilliant songs. go figure...

The only fans right now are the diehard fans that will see them no matter what. He certainly doesn't have any NEW fans. I don't think most of the people going even realize when they buy tickets that it's not the original band (or anything even remotely close to it). You get these people in there, show them the "new" GNR, and then throw that hip-hop sounding shit in there to boot??? They'd tear the stage down trying to get to his whiny ass.
He's already come to the conclusion that the crowd is going nuts for the old shit - which he didn't think they cared about anymore, or he wouldn't have written Chinese Democracy in the style he did.

You Know...I'm getting pretty tierd of having to make up stupid comments about the game fucking story's that are reported on Blabbermouth every week.
We see the same story, or a variation of it 3 times per week, and whether we like the band in question or not, everyone has to admit that there is way too much "Non-News" repoted on this site.
I dont care if you are a New Guns N' Roses fan, or love Kiss, or Vinnie Paul, or Metallica, or even Slayer. Everyone has to admit that the amount of unsignificant news reported here is off the charts in the past few months. And it seems like nothing more than a Celebrity Tabloid.
By the Way, "The Axl Rose Band" Is the greatest Cover band of all time, (any genre of music) But there is no reason to informe us of every single time he visits a U.K. Club. And even though most people here would say other wise, we dont need to see the pictures of him with his Random Escorts that he takes out each night.
(And I hpoe Im not the only one that noticed that each one of these girls is like 5 inches taller than him. He looks like he's 5 Foot 2 Compared to all these payed broads.)

That's really too bad. It seems that every day Axl is doing something to fuck himself and his fans over again. I had no real high hopes for this G'N'R cover band, and it's a good thing I didn't. haha just to correct (if anyone gives a shit) whilst bach was singing the closing songs Izzy stradlin was on stage but a) you couldnt hear his mic and b) you couldnt hear his guitar. So technically there was a member of gnr (albeit one who had left) but you still couldnt fucking hear him so technically he was wasnt there either.
Wembley last tube/metro train leaves @ 22:45 . Axl karoke band comes on stage @ 22:30 and then pulls a sickie at the end. 6000 people wonder how the fuck to get home. Not doing that again.

First the Sebastian Bach bailing out L.A. Guns on stage about three years ago and getting booed off the stage for playing about two hours straight and now Bach bailing out Rose.
Hmmm, must be a curse on the Hollywood Rose.
The funny thing was, Enuff Z'nuff was on stage for 20-30 minutes at the no-show L.A. Guns show and go booed off also....
