SANCTUARY RECORDS Changing Distribution In Time For New IRON MAIDEN Album - Aug. 6, 2006
According to Hits Daily Double, Sanctuary Records, under the newly installed leadership of Bob Cahill, is moving over to RED Distribution in the U.S. Sanctuary has been under the BMG, then Sony BMG, banner for over six years.

Sanctuary will release the new IRON MAIDEN album, "A Matter of Life and Death", on September 5. The CD will also be available as a limited-edition special deluxe format which contains a bonus DVD. The DVD contains nearly an hour of documentary footage plus videos and photos all shot while the band were making the album. The documentary, titled "The Making of A Matter Of Life and Death", directed by Matthew Amos ("Early Days", "Death on the Road" DVD documentaries) features candid video footage shot largely by producer Kevin Shirley himself during the recording of the album giving a real behind-the-scenes look at life in the studio. The bonus DVD also features the full 7:21 minute video promo for "The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg", and a special intimate filming of the band recording "Different World" in the studio. "A Matter of Life and Death" will also be available as a limited-edition double picture disc vinyl in gatefold sleeve, and as a digital download, available through the newly launched official IRON MAIDEN digital store, where you can buy single tracks, a bundle, or an album for your PC, or your MP3 player.

Hey MAXPOWER, what bands do you think aren't overrated and overshadow Maiden in quality and has influenced more bands? I will get a real big kick out your answer. Please embarrass yourself.
Are Maiden perfect?....no, have there been a couple of bummer releases in the catalog?.....sure, Do you have to buy all the live albums?....nah.

What's wrong with you boy?

Comparing Maiden's actions to KISS ???

Seeing how Maiden has reunited, done several world tours, and are about to release their 3rd full length studio album full of new material in a shorter period of time than it has been since KISS' last studio effort, I'd say your statements are just a wee bit off the mark, don't ya think ?
