IRON MAIDEN Contributes New Song To 'Downhill Jam' Video Game - Aug. 10, 2006
IRON MAIDEN has contributed one of the tracks from their upcoming "A Matter of Life and Death" album, "Different World", to the Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam video game. The title is the first downhill skateboard racing game based on the wildly popular Tony Hawk franchise and will be released by Activision in the fall for the Wii, Nintendo DS, and Game Boy Advance.

North American residents can pre-order the new IRON MAIDEN CD, "A Matter of Life and Death", as a CD or iPod-friendly digital download for only $9.99 — or $14.99 with a limited-edition t-shirt. Fans purchasing the release will also be able to buy tickets to the band's upcoming October U.S. tour run in advance of the general public on-sale date of August 12.

The band's recently announced North American arena tour will be the only U.S. dates in support of "A Matter of Life and Death".

"A Matter of Life and Death" is scheduled for release on September 5 via Sanctuary.

Im open minded to the fact that one song doesnt make or break an entire recording. I am hopefull though, based on past experiences.

I don't care much for the Benjamin Breeg song either but remember the first single off the last album was Wildest Dreams and it sounded nothing like the rest of the album!

Should be a fast song if it's on this game.

I thought The reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg was a good song, different, but, good... The song by song album review suggests that it's an album full of many different songs and some of the heaviest and most epic from Maiden ever!
I can't wait for it..

I have honestly not liked maidens lead songs pushed for the last two cds...wicker man and wildest dreams. they had to be my absolute least fav songs on the cd, but was I blown away when I realized how much the rest of the cd soared above those tracks, and to me there opening track smokes wildest dreams so I have wayyyyy high hopes, just pre ordered the cd online too
