SEBASTIAN BACH: 'What An Incredible Rush It Was To Sing With ALICE IN CHAINS' - Aug. 12, 2006
Former SKID ROW frontman Sebastian Bach has posted the following message on his official web site:

"What an incredible rush it was to sing with ALICE IN CHAINS in Japan twice last month. Jerry Cantrell had the idea for me to join the band for 'Man In The Box' in Osaka at Udo Music Festival, and being a huge fan of Layne Staley and ALICE IN CHAINS I jumped at the chance to sing one of my favorite tracks of the '90s live with probably the best band of the '90s . We had such a good time jamming in Osaka that we did it again the next day at Mt. Fuji. Thanks to Jerry and the rest of the band and hopefully I will sing again with ALICE IN CHAINS sometime in the future!"

Bach also commented on his recently announce dates in China and Australia:

"I am totally excited to play Beijing, China for the first time in my career. The international rock community is stronger than ever and for us to play China is a total honour. It's always cool to play somewhere you never have before and we look forward to rocking out in China this September! I also cannot wait to return to Australia. The last time I played there was in 1993 supporting GUNS N' ROSES and they were some of the biggest shows I have ever played. It's gonna be killer to bring the new band Down Under!"

Check out a recent interview with Sebastian at Planet-Loud.com.

Upcoming SEBASTIAN BACH shows:

Sep. 09 - Beijing, CHN @ Chaoyang Park
Sep. 14 - Sydney, AUS @ Selina's
Sep. 15 - Melbourne, AUS @ The Palace

Sebastian recently began recording his new solo album, "Angel Down", for a tentative October release via Spitfire Records.

Bach's current touring/recording lineup consists of the following:

Sebastian Bach - Vocals
Metal" Mike Chlasciak (HALFORD, PAINMUSEUM) - Guitar
Steve DiGiorgio (SADUS, ex-DEATH, TESTAMENT) - Bass
Bobby Jarzombek (ICED EARTH, HALFORD) - Drums
Johnny Chromatic – Guitar

..............Bach and the other dudes in Skid Row should bury the hatchet and reunite. I mean the rest of Skid row have to feel pretty crunchy playing in bars and bowling alleys while Sebastian is touring all over the world.

With KNAC DJ Diana DeVille continuing her boycott of Chinese goods due to the country's admittedly cruel method of curbing rabies outbreaks by killing all stray dogs for carrying the disease there goes one more opportunity for Baz to get interviewed on WildSide anytime soon.

On the other hand, a Sebastian Bach and Jerry Cantrell collaboration would be the fucking balls. Seriously, for a singer with many personality defects you gotta respect the guy for landing collaborations with so many respected musicians.

haven't heard of nick pollock.. who sang and played guitar in chains way back. maybe there was bad blood or what.. but if you ever listen to the band 'my sister's machine'. you can really hear where layne was influenced.. would have made a way better lead singer than that turd duvall..
